Really cool concept. Verve Coffee is excellent and worth the (not cheap) price tag. There’s plenty of seating and a whole second level. Capital One & Discover cardholders get a whopping 50% off espresso-based drinks, so my latte was only $3.50

OMG — this is only my second time at the Capital One Café, and let me tell you… the coffee is GOOD. The kind of good that makes you actually leave your house to come get it!
The atmosphere is amazing — two floors, plenty of space, and such a relaxing vibe. They even have breakout rooms you can reserve for computer work, schoolwork, or group meetings.
Everyone is friendly, the space is clean, and it’s open until 7 PM.
I highly recommend this café. This is definitely my new hangout spot.

Very spacious coffee shop with lots of plugs. Overload of staff but I guess that’s a good thing. If you have a non-profit there is a conference room you can rent by the hour for free. Can get busy

Great cafe in the heart of the city! I LOVE that drinks are half price when I use my capital one card. Seats on the second level with a window view are the best!
Clean bathrooms (though today there wasn’t toilet paper).

It was the first time either of us visited a Capital One Café, and we loved the vibe and aesthetic of the first and second floors of the coffee shop

I like that Capital One cardholders get half off using their Capital One card

We both tried the gingersnap latte – it was good, but it wasn’t something I personally would reorder

The baristas were friendly, and I would love to come back and try other drinks on the menu (and continue getting half off with my Capital One card)!

I’m always a fan of capital one cafe for the half off drinks. I ordered a gingerbread or biscoff type iced late. It’s worth it considering the capital one perks of it, but the flavor lacked compared to other season drinks I’ve had.

Service seemed fast but it was a random business day morning so it’s hard to tell really.

Lots of seating areas from the cafe part and many areas extended upstairs. Cute and trendy looks. I’d definitely stop again!

This is an okay place for a coffee and for work.

The coffee can be very good, but a disconnect between the cashier and the barista often leads to imperfect coffee specifications.

When the place is quiet, it is an excellent place to work because there is plenty of seating and outlets. However, there are many non-paying customers at any given point that come in off the street and and take up tables/chairs for hours without making any purchases. When the place is packed and there is no where to sit, it becomes frustrating that the employees do not do enough to police these campers for the sake of their paying customers.

Capital one cafe is a great spot to sit and get work done! There’s plenty of seats and high tops, but it’s usually pretty crowded. Matcha and coffee drinks are good, and service is extremely friendly. My matcha was not made iced like I requested, but I didn’t really mind keeping the hot version.

The coffee is fine (especially for the price if you have a Capital One card) and there’s lots of space to work and study which is nice.
However I had a very unpleasant experience with the staff here. Around 15 minutes before closing they had multiple staff come up to me around 4 times in the span of 2 minutes telling me the place is closing soon (and one particular staff was around 3 of those times.) Then around 5-10 minutes before closing while I was still packing up that staff started yelling at me and said things he probably shouldn’t say to customers like “there’s always that one customer”. It really ruined my mood and it was quite inappropriate given that I wasn’t like trying to stick around after closing and still had a few minutes to pack up. Since then I have been avoiding this cafe even though I quite enjoy working there. There’s typical Philly rudeness but this was another level.

Good deal half off drinks if you’re a CO cardholder. Not too loud and there are very friendly employees.
