We loved our experience here! The fried grouper appetizer is amazing. The Espresso Martini was also a hit. They had a stuffed lobster tail dinner special that was outstanding. And the desserts are to die for.

There is something for everyone on the menu, and it is all delicious. It is heavily seafood based, but there are also burgers, chicken tenders, wings, and ribs that are equally as tasty. It’s surprisingly affordable for our 6-person family given the portion sizes.

Dined at Capers for the first time last night with a party of 5. The food was delicious. We had the fried salmon, smoked salmon and crab fingers for appetizers. All of them were so good. For dinner we ordered lamb chops, blackened Mahi Mahi, barbecue salmon and the grouper with Kale salad, sweet mashed potatoes and asparagus as our sides. We all enjoyed our entrees. Then for dessert we had the bread pudding and toasted strawberry pound cake. It was the best we’d ever had. We will definitely be returning to Capers.

I can’t believe I’m just discovering this place! Great service. Good food. Nice variety. Wonderful ambiance. We started with a glass of peach wine and the Alchemy Rose cocktail. The garlic sautéed crab fingers appetizer was delicious. That sauce! I could have eaten a whole bowl of it. In fact, we asked them to leave it on the table, and they brought us a little more bread to finish it. For the entree, I had the Dijon salmon with creamed spinach and Brussel sprouts. Sorry, I was not a fan of the Brussel sprouts, but that creamed spinach was the best. My daughter ordered the pork chop, which was very good. She ordered the Wasabi mashed potatoes but didn’t like those very much and exchanged them for the au gratin potatoes. For dessert, we had the bread pudding. Excellent! We’ll definitely be back!

Very nice black owned establishment. We were seated within 20 minutes. I had the Dijon salmon with green beans and au gratin potatoes.The salmon was cooked to perfection! I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waiter was very attentive to our needs. I would definitely go back again and again.

I went on a Saturday afternoon and I was seated right away. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. I ordered the blackened salmon bowtie pasta with a side house salad. Everything was very good. I didn’t get the strawberry pound cake for dessert this visit, but it’s a must have. You won’t be disappointed. Capers is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

I have been here in the past and always had a good experience, so I was surprised to see some of the reviews. I was somewhat reluctant to go back after some of the reviews. I am so glad I went back. The food was delicious like previous times and the service was excellent. Management came to ask if everything was okay. The lamp chops are always delicious too. The prices are reasonable and good establishment.
