fantastic food and fantastic service. the older gentleman that helped seat us and took our order was genuinely the nicest person ever. very receptive, very helpful, very pleasant! the kitchen staff member that brought out our caramelized onions was also super pleasant and accommodating. the food was excellent without a doubt. the flatbreads were humongous and the toppings were plentiful. the mushrooms were so, SO plump and delicious and buttery, and the chicken flatbread was simply an explosion of flavors with the bleu cheese and pear. the minestrone was quite hearty and comforting without being too heavy, and the extra caramelized onions that we added on kind of as an afterthought really tied everything together because they were just so sweet and buttery–essentially, perfect. i genuinely think this is the best food i’ve ever had at an airport, and that is really saying a LOT. thank you for your hospitality and amazing food capers bistro!

Food was ok, and the place looks nice. Personally, I won’t be back.

Salmon risotto… Good for airport food but forgettable.

The gyro…. The fries were great, the gyro was the smallest gyro I’ve ever seen. Looked like 3 pieces of lunch meet stuffed in an otherwise tasty pita. The lettuce and onions were good though

Staff… One very friendly but we got turned over to mr.grouch two minutes later.

I love coming to Capers and do so very often, the staff here is wonderful. Always get great service, drinks and food. Used to be very comfortable with decent lighting. Now its SO BRIGHT that it gives me a headache and my favorite spot right at their bar isn’t as great, I hope they fix the lighting back to normal soon so the atmosphere is better again.

The soup was good! I had the ClamWin Chowder and it wasn’t like Ivan’s but just as comforting with lots of bacon. It came with warm toasty bread and did the trick for me. Topped it off with wine. The server was wonderful (from Calgary), friendly, caring. When you are feeling a bit sad this helped!

my favorite place in the airport to go before a flight. cheaper and better drinks and food. The service was amazing even at 6am. I will come back every-time i fly! Special thanks to Martini who took amazing care of me and makes a lovely and perfectly strong mimosa!

I have a Priority Pass card that includes restaurants. I’ve been going to Capers for years, pre and post airport remodel. It’s always solid and their prices haven’t changed too much over the years. My husband and I love our pre-flight ritual of mimosas and a snack, and we typically grab a sandwich or some breakfast items for later. Martini is almost always there and she is so wonderful, she really is part of the experience. She’s friendly and funny but also makes sure you are taken care with food and drinks. Capers is honestly part of why I keep my Priority Pass membership, if they closed or stopped accepting it, I’d be very sad! Until then, I’ll keep enjoying my $6 mimosas before I fly.

I placed an order at 5:50am on 9/19/19 and paid for a Chicken Cesar Salad, #7 Bagels and Lox, and a Breakfast Scone plus a bottle of water. The cashier was very nice, personable. After waiting between 10 and 15 minutes and seeing everyone after me receiving their orders I asked the cashier about the order. She asked someone else, who asked someone in the kitchen area. I heard the kitchen person’s response, which was “I didn’t see any lox downstairs.” So the kitchen just left the order pending because they didn’t have lox, but apparently they weren’t going to mention it to whoever was in charge. I asked for a refund because my flight was boarding, and asked the person in charge to comp me the salad. She said no, only the Bagels and Lox. I left unhappy. On the plane I discovered they hadn’t put the scone in the bag either, so all we had to eat was the salad. Here are some pics of the old lettuce we found when digging down under the top layer. Nice, what a great meal. Thanks a lot Capers. They get two stars because the staff was friendly.
