We used Cape Roots for some food aspects for our wedding day 9/13/25 in harwich port and they were fantastic. It’s my favorite coffee spot in town but now my favorite catering! We ordered some breakfast platters and cold brew for getting ready and they were perfect. We catered some gluten free appetizer options for our cocktail hour (stuffed mushrooms, zucchini fritters and polenta cakes) and our guests LOVED them and are still talking about them. They were affordable and professional and pickup was easy. Would highly recommend and hope to use them again in the future!

Took over 30 minutes to receive a chicken salad sandwich. Felt like such a waste of time. I understand that it is a small business, however, it is discouraging when you see people who ordered well after you receive their order before you. There does not seem to be a system. The workers here were not friendly either. Although I enjoyed my sandwich, I would not come back.

We love stopping by CapeRoots for coffee and a quick breakfast Sammy. In the summer it can be a bit of a zoo so be patient with staff. They have limited parking spots in the rear of the building. Varies seating inside. They also offer fresh produce, meats and Frozen items.

I come here almost daily because I work in town. The food is excellent, some of the employees are super helpful and nice, however, there are a handful that are just miserable and they ruin the experience. The girl at the coffee bar yesterday was absolutely miserable. I sat there in front of her for a couple minutes waiting for her to acknowledge me but she wouldn’t even make eye contact. So annoying. If you don’t want the job – move on. Same with the woman at the sandwich counter yesterday. Miserable and rude.

Such a lovely staff! The place is very calm and welcoming. They have tables outside and several seating inside, including high chairs with “working station” by the windows facing the street where you can charge your phone or laptop.
Apart from the coffee and tasty breakfast options they also offer some groceries where you can buy anything from meat, fish, fresh veggies, pasta and other necessities, also prepared meals and delicious sandwiches.

Cape Roots has a cool vibe, great set up and atmosphere. Unfortunately the staff were either forced to work or wanted to show patrons they weren’t interested in providing service. One word answers, no eye contact, did not offer options when a certain bagel was unavailable. Again, the atmosphere, and building offer a great setting. Its the staff Unfortunately that brought the review.

Iced Chai latte with no chai spices, mocha latte filled 2/3 full, dry pastry, looong wait, slow staff. It’s kind of a shame. Cute place, walking distance from our hotel. But just…no.

Cute interior with different seatings inside and outside. I recommend The Pilgrim and also there’s this summer special called the American Pie Chai or something which was very sweet but pretty good.

Cute local spot with all the offerings. Staff overall are very good. Very expensive, captive audience, good quality fresh goods. Chief complaint: small americano has two shots of espresso, large also has two shots, makes no sense. (I can add another $3 shot) Coffee is mediocre.

This is a very cute market. Lots of items for sale, from t-shirts to gifts. It’s a coffee place, tea, and delicious baked goodies. Wonderful deli area. I highly recommend visiting this market.
