A decedent experience for you peanut butter fans. As soon as you walk into the store, your in the presence of sweetness. Peanut butter cookies the size of a man’s fist draws your attention. This is followed by the wall of flavored peanut butter, jams, and food spreads. Coffee and hot chocolate are available to pair with your chosen treat. You’re free to ask for sample tastings of any store products. Outside seating is available as well.

When my husband started coming to the Cape May peanut butter company many years ago, the cookies were soft chewable very delicious. Anymore when we come there, the cookies are baked so much. They are rockhard and often burned on the bottom or so dark on the bottom that they have just been overcooked. The cookies do not seem to be good anymore. The peanut butter cookies with the big peanut butter Reesie’s on the top are so overcooked all the time they lack taste and they are so hard that it almost hurts your teeth biting into them.
I don’t know who has been baking the cookies for the last year or so but they really need to cut the baking time. Too much less because peanut butter cookies are supposed to be soft and chewy and not rockhard. The ones my husband bought today the peanut butter cup on the top is even burned. we love the store. I love the jellies and jams you sell in there and the service is always friendly and nice. My only real complaint is that most of the cookies that we have bought are hard as a rock and overcooked.

A must-stop for peanut butter lovers! Store was crazy busy when we were there mid week. While we didn’t see any samples, we did overhear customers commenting on must-haves, including the butterscotch peanut butter. The peanut butter square cookies we got were good and we enjoyed the beautiful backyard patio set up they have behind the store. Need to return for their butterscotch spread!

Absolutely amazing! We have been to Cape May quite a few times now but this is our first time stopping by this spot. Wish we would have came sooner! The staff is beyond helpful and very friendly. The selection there is a great with a ton of great choices. They have every thing peanut butter and then some. They have peanut butter hot cocoa, cannolis, candy and etc. they have peanuts and cookies and candy too. The staff made you fell right at home. We look forward to going again on our next trip into Cape May. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.

$8 for a water hot chocolate and like $6 for a cookie that taste like a cinderblock. I had higher expectations for this place from what I saw in the reviews. The hot chocolate was weak and tasted like chocolate water, the peanut butter cookie was unpleasant and impossible to swallow. As far as customer service goes, it was non existent considering the store had only one other customer besides myself and a friend. Supposedly they do samples here but I wasn’t offered any, and the staff looked uninterested and made me feel like I wasn’t welcomed so I didn’t get any of the products they have on the shelf but what I did purchase was so not worth the price and the hype.

Cape May Peanut Butter and Company is fantastic! The cookies are huge, and they offer free peanut butter samples, which is a nice touch. The prices are reasonable too. I bought a peanut butter cookie and a chocolate peanut cookie, and both were delicious. The staff is friendly, and I can’t wait to return!

This is a great place to visit! We sampled so many great peanut butters and came out with a bag of delicious goodies. The service was warm and friendly and the prices were reasonable for the area and the product you get. We will definitely visit again on our next trip.

This shop is amazing! There are so many choices, and they offer samples of almost everything. The staff is incredibly patient giving you plenty of time to decide. Prices are reasonable too. Highly recommend checking it out!
