Food was delicious and service was prime!! Thank you for our meal ❤️❤️❤️ I had the chicken piccata (sub salmon for chicken) and my husband had the burger. Everything was so good, bartender mixed a perfect Paloma. We can’t rave enough about this place!

This was my first visit to this new restaurant. Wow! The first thing you will notice when you walk in is that the interior design is amazing. It’s a combination of comfortable casual and classy. You get the feeling like you are in another Country in Europe and you discover this cool new place tucked away and hidden. Let’s talk about the food. I ordered the stuffed pepper appetizer. Absolutely delicious. For the main, I had a black and blue Ribeye that was perfectly seasoned and cooked medium rare. I can’t wait to go back. This is what going out is supposed to be. Great food and a mini get away!

Every single dish we ordered (seafood chop salad, seafood risotto special and triple tail risotto) was phenomenal! To top it off, dessert was to die for: so many options to choose from! Where to start? The decoration, relaxing, wood and iron, the beautiful pictures of ocean , shores. The music is on point to enjoy a quiet and excellent meal. The food, the food was delicious. Maybe the best I’ve had in Englewood. Had the salmon with a risotto that I couldn’t stop eating even though I was already full, addictive. Hubby had steak and loved it, and he’s particular about his steak. Our server was Lisa, the nicest girl. The owner came to our table and gave us advise on the dessert. His wife is the pastry chef. They make their own ice cream!! … Will definitely be back, not cheap but you can taste what you pay in every bite. Totally worth it.

This place looks really shabby on the outside, but decor inside is nice. I gave it 3 stars because the food is very pricey and there is no waterfront view. Also, we visited when they went on their summer menu vs their more elaborate menu so their entrees were very limited. The Mahi Mahi was good, but our sides, which were sweet potato mashed and house slaw, were kiddie size.

Our first experience at Cape Haze Tavern. Place was recommended to us a year ago by an older man the guys at the golf course called “The Mayer”. Needless to say it took us a year to get there. The environment was awesome, the staff and management couldn’t have been nicer, and the food was great. We will definitely be back.

Our first visit to Cape Haze Tavern in Rotonda West last evening was so good. We had reservations but really didn’t need them . We were shown to our table by Dillon, our waiter and ordered our drinks. They came quickly and we order the special appetizer, portobello fries. OMG they were awesome. We both ordered the filet that came with mashed potatoes and spinach. I’m not a filet fan at all, but these melted in your mouth! We ordered them rare. Even though they had desserts that are made in-house, we had no room for them. All in all a great dining experience. We definitely will be back especially for the portobello fries.

This was our first time at the restaurant. We had the French onion soup – to die for! I had the pan seared scallops, which were cooked to perfection. My husband had the red snapper. It was good, but needed a little more flavor/seasoning for our taste. Our server was excellent – attentive, but not overbearing. The ambiance is comfortable, warm and inviting. We will definitely be going back!

Really nice place! You feel fancy but not pretentious. We have been a few times when I visit Mom and always had good food and service. Melissa and Jude didn’t disappoint! So nice!
