We had a retirement party planned with a Mexican theme. Three days prior to our event, the caterer gave us a price that was outrageous, almost double the last time we used them and for less people. I knew Cape Haze Convenience had great food and an excellent reputation but I was not aware of their catering services. Two of my friends recommended them to me and I called the owner at 10 p.m. on Monday night for a Thursday event. I knew I was asking a lot but Theresa said she would find a way to get it done if we were flexible about menu choices. In the end, she was able to provide everything we asked for right on time for the event. The food was absolutely incredible. All of the guests raved about it and wanted the name of my caterer. Cape Haze Convenience and Theresa will be my first call from now on! We served Chicken Francese, Lasagna, Eggplant Parmesan, Penne alla Vodka, Spaghetti with Garlic & Oil, Garden Salad, Garlic Rolls & an Italian meat tray. The price was incredibly reasonably and we had food to take home for leftovers!

I had a great experience, I had been seeing posts on facebook about the food and since we were near the store we decided to stop in and give it a try. We tried the gyro stromboli and it was fabulous ❤️ I took some photos and finished every bite of my meal. Thanks cape haze. I’ll make the trek from sgc over there a lil more often. The price is very fair as well.

I love how I step into Lou and Theresa store and you feel home between the welcoming smiles and the combination of clean smell and home-cooked food. Sometimes I stop by for coffee and other times I grab dinner for us. Either way its the only deli I return to. Outstanding food all the time and the desserts are phenomenal.

OUTSTANDING!!! This is a hidden gem . A true NY style Italian deli with all of the Englewood local convenience items all in one! Homemade chicken cutlets, sausage and peppers, spaghetti and meatballs, fresh made subs, gourmet coffee… they do an outstanding breakfast. I can go on and on. Definitely worth the trip. Great friendly staff. You’ll absolutely be hooked.

Good service, I got there early and the deli wasn’t even open yet but the lady that had just come in waited on me promptly even though I only had a question about something else not deli-related. The cashier was nice, too, even tho it was very early in the morning. The sub was delicious after a long morning of fishing and boating when I ate it later. Great spot to get lunch items or any snacks before hitting the water. They open early, too. Will stop here again.

Food is good and the staff is amazing!! I work for a small local nonprofit organization that tutors children with dyslexia. We have an annual banquet for all of our students and use local restaurants and businesses to cater our event. Cape Haze Convenience Store graciously donated a pasta dinner for our banquet this year!! Everyone commented at how tasty our dinner was!!
