This was a last minute choice for us when our other plans fell through and we are so glad that we did. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the prices were more than reasonable! I had a hard time deciding on anything, so I ordered half the menu and every bite brought my wife and I audible excitement! Nothing was disappointing! The mini arepas were soft AND crispy, the tequeños were incredible, huge fresh shrimp in the fried rice, the brine on the chicken was delicious, and don’t sleep on the dumplings in chili sauce. We took the leftovers back to the hotel and ate on them for two days. My wife and I are legitimately sad that we will have nothing close to this back home. If we lived in San Francisco this would be a weekly stop. We ate fancy, touristy, and casual; and out of everything we ate on this trip, this was 100% our favorite, and it wasn’t even close.

You can tell this is a loved neighborhood spot. The vibe here is just comfortable. I came here because the idea of the fusion sounded good. And it did not disappoint. Everything I had was so delicious. But something about the way they made their plantains felt extra special. The service was really good as well. Everyone was friendly and had a good story about the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Delicious Venezuelan food! We ordered empanada with shredded beef, Tequeños (cheese sticks), Sancocho de res (beef soup), plantain and a combo of chicken and fried rice. Food were fresh, crispy and tasty. Service was very fast and friendly. This restaurant is very clean and cozy. Highly recommended.

The owner (I think) Christina was telling us about how her folks immigrated to Venezuela and then to San Francisco. The food here was fantastic. My wife got a half roasted duck and I got the sesame pork. We shared the Buddha’s Delight veggie.

The food arrived quick and was hot and amazing. I love the refinished grotto like atmosphere and the music was something you’d want to dance to. An amazing experience, would definitely come back!

A cozy spot for real comfort food! The mix of Chinese and Venezuelan flavors works surprisingly well — every dish feels both familiar and new. The smoky fried rice was super delish , and I can’t stop thinking about their pork hot and sour soup — absolutely perfect! The braided chicken had just the right touch of sweetness without going overboard. Warm, friendly service too. I’m already planning my next visit!

I went to this restaurant based on google reviews and let me tell you it was such a pleasant experience. The crew was so friendly and welcoming. Portions are large and worth every penny. Not to mention how fresh and super delicious the food is. I ordered pork skewers, chicken fried rice and roasted duck… fabulous food. If I visit San fransisco again would certainly go there. Oh also… I love their water melon juice which was beyond my expectations it was very thick and no watery at all, also not too sugary too just perfect

I go out of my way to eat here at least twice per month! The roasted duck is BY FAR the best I’ve ever had (and I have tried so many places in SF and the East Bay searching for the perfect duck!). AND it’s super affordable. Everything here is amazing!!! I’ve tried a lot of different items and have never been disappointed.

Delicious food, big portions, pretty kind service. It had been years since I’d had Venezuelan-Chinese food, and it was worth coming all the way from LA to try it. It brought back so many memories. 100% recomendados

Just discovered this place after hearing a lot about it online. Everything was soo good and the service was very nice- I went back day after. The empanadas were huge and the dipping sauce was creamy and garlicky. The beef flat rice stir fry was a genius portion and done very well, texture of beef was great and noodles their used are good quality. Also we got their sancocho weekend special, a beef potato carrot hearty soup nice for a cold night. Lumpia also had great flavor!

However, star for me were the wontons and spicy chili dumplings!! The fillings for both are phenomenal and some of the best I’ve had in sf honestly. Love that I get to have different cuisines in one place. And very affordable and big portions! Next time I want to try their bbq Venezuelan and Chinese meats!

Tucked away in the Tenderloin, the neighborhood gem has a following of loyal customers. On a recent Saturday night visit, every table was full! But after one visit, you’ll also be hooked—delicious food, friendly service and did I mention the delicious food? Just, yum! Can’t wait to return and have the Cantoo Triple Set (roasted duck, lechon, and BBQ pork)— I think I e thought about this dish every day since. Will post a photo!
