Use to be a go to spot for me and my family specially during lunch time. The past 3 times I’ve gotten my food has barely been warm enough to eat! I usually call in and order my food it’s usually not longer than 10 minutes before it’s done so I show up right after I call since I live down the street but it has barely been warm enough to eat! Yes I can just warm it up but why should I need to do so when it should be fresh. I just ordered the lunch special in person and got my food about 5 minutes later thinking to myself wow that was fast. SHOILD BE HOT BUT NOPE! they gave me a plate as if it was sitting for a while I let the lady know and all she said was she was sorry. She took my food gave me a “new” plate as I got back into my car the food was only warm. This place is going downhill I’m not asking for much but damn at least give me hot food when I’m ordering in person. Not to mention the 2nd plate she gave me looked like they just tossed my noodles again they look older than the ones I originally got.

If you like a twist of Chinese food this is the place. Generals chicken is good. Mixed chow mein, sweet and sour chicken. And more. Can’t go wrong.

The food is good, but they charged me $10 more than the total given on the phone, Also, all the prices are about $5 more than the prices online, so the total I was given was already a lot higher than expected. She sounded defensive on the phone when she gave me the total, as though she knows people are calling to order with misinformation. Seems like false advertising. I’ve added the current prices from today’s menu.

I ordered their beef chow fun and it was delicious, nicely cooked cabbage and tender beef. not oily/greasy. for a small town restaurant the flavors are really close to the authentic flavors i grew up eating. the restaurant is family owned and operated and has been around for 13 years. support small businesses!

Despite its small atmosphere, everything about this restaurant is very good. The meals are cooked to perfection and taste authentic, including but not limited to the fried rice and sweet sauce. The Kung Pao dishes also have the perfect amount of spiciness for my taste buds. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about this restaurant. I would definitely recommend it to people interested in feasting on Chinese/Cantonese cuisine.

Staff was nice, no issues, but the food is bad. Everything was really dry, lacked flavor. Shrimp tasted bad. I threw it out, not worth trying to eat. Still searching for good Chinese food in Salinas.

It’s a small little hole in the wall. Tried it for the first time, the service was great. The food was yummy and flavorful. The portions are of good size. Give it a try, I’ll be going back to try other dishes
