This has been my go to for Chinese take out for years. Food is always good but the only thing I did not care for was that the egg rolls were dripping in oil and not filled all the way. Other than, that, excellent service and value for your money.

Egg rolls, crab rangoon and beef lo mein were pretty good. But, they did not make up for some of the worst egg drop soup we’ve had. It was almost like they used leftover dish water with it.. and the sesame chicken also made it to the trash.. it wasn’t fully cooked/didn’t taste right and the broccoli was really old looking.. there’s definitely better options than this

First of all. There was no air condition when u walk in. 11 dollars for almond chicken and it was 11oclock am. When i got the food home. Gravy was really watery and chicken was dry and overcooked. You couldnt chew it. Terrible. No taste at all. Terrible. Do not waste t yr money

First time getting Canton Express. I ordered chicken pad Thai and a sweet and sour chicken. Pad Thai was ok. Sweet and sour chicken was very good. Egg roll was good. I will go back.

To sum it up, the rude service and mediocre food makes Canton Express a scratch for me.
The food, while mediocre at best, is your typical run of the mill Chinese takeout. The Orange chicken was alright, and the szechuan vegetables actually had a bitter taste. The fried rice and white rice where good. However, the food was not the main problem.
The service was unacceptable. We were told our food would be 25 minutes. When I showed up (around 15 minutes after the call because we were a bit early), the first thing the lady said was,
“What was your order? We told you 25 minutes! We had you scheduled at 7:30, it’s 7:20! You’re early, wait! We told you 25 minutes!”
We expected to have a wait, but to be greeted by someone actually yelling at us, is something that makes me want to never go back. There was only one other customer who was there in our 10 minutes of sitting, and he started out by saying “I know I’m early.” So this clearly is a reoccurring problem. While being nicer after the initial greeting, it was not the way customers should be talked to.
While going here for years, this is my last time ordering from Canton Express.

Love their food but they inflate prices so be careful when ordering! They charge you what they want, not according to the menu. Tried to charge me an extra 10.00 but we looked at the menu and caught her. Never again!

First time there i asked for sweet and sour chicken (breaded chicken) with garlic sauce on the side they said it has to be on the chicken i said cool they sent me cut up not breaded chicken and said they cant fix my order

Had not been there in years as I tried the food right after this new team took over and it was very bad then. We had inedible egg drop soup and dried up almond chicken. I tried again after 5+ years and unfortunately nothing changed. The rubbery sweet and soup chicken was a mess and chicken fried rice with barely anything but rice. Not much has changed, we have no dependable Chinese restaurants around here since Moy’s on Jefferson and Marter closed.
The place got worse and customer lobby looks like someone’s basement,

Came in and the lady kept saying the machine didn’t post my transaction and asked me to use another card. Both cards were charged for one meal and this restaurant claimed that they couldn’t refund my $13.50 because “a paper receipt didn’t print” out of their machine for one of the overcharged transactions. I show where both my accounts were charged. They claimed I needed to come back another day so I could look over their bank statements. I come back. They said because they’ve been in business for 30 years, they didn’t make a mistake. Sir and ma’am, just refund my $13.50 please. I ended up calling my bank while there, who told the restaurant that they indeed did receive payment. I ended up having to file a dispute with my bank over $13.50. There is no telling how many times this has happened before to other customers. Bad business.
