This is my first time here and I absolutely love the decor and the vibes are so chill. The food is delicious too. I was feeling a Mexican/Italian mix and it did not disappoint. The staff are very friendly. This was a great start to my birthday weekend. I will definitely come back again.

This is a very cozy spot in LES, it’s not too big it’s the perfect intimate setting. I wish I could remember our waitress name because she was literally so sweet and made the entire place brighter! I will definitely going back for the drinks, they were so good , happy hour here is till 7PM so it’s good for an after work drinks kinda vibe. The food was so good and flavorful I just wish there were a bit more options. Everything is made fresh and you can definitely taste it . Easy recommendation .

Food has pretty good flavor. i ordered the chicken tacos which were pretty good. Flavored margaritas seem weak but they pack a punch! I had the mango margarita at first which tasted like juice but snuck up on me. I then ordered a passion fruit margarita which, in my opinion tasted better. The waitress was really nice and helpful with recommendations. Bartender gets drinks out quickly (and is pretty lol).
The restaurant is on a busy and possibly intimidating block downstairs from a hotel. Ambiance is “ok”. Music was early 2000s hip-hop the whole time I was there which I was cool with but some people might not be. Overall good experience. Will be back!

Do not go here. Food took over an hour to come out and then it was cold and was nearly inedible. I would have gotten the attention of a manager but there was not a manager in sight. The only good experience was the waitress and bartender who were working very hard and obviously trying their best to make us comfortable. On top of that there was automatic 18% gratuity which would’ve fine if I knew it would go straight to my waitress and bartender. I hope this place closes down it’s disgusting.

Cantina sundown is definitely a place to go to when you’re in this area. The staff is super nice and inviting, it felt like they knew their customers very well too.. I love that. The food is very good, my favorite being that shrimp quesadilla. Literally, to die for … no lies told. It’s so light, you don’t feel that “full itis feeling” just right!

The tequila flight is fire, 4 shots of any tequila you choose for $20 I got pineapple juice on the side ..just in case it too much
& the watermelon margarita ..pretty darn good!

Service was kind and the food and margs were good! The happy hour menu is confusing as each entry on the menu is for a different day of the week. The portions are only massive so we ordered sides since we didn’t want mountains of food (we were hoping to just get 1 or 2 mixed tacos each but that’s not allowed). It took a long time to get the food but it was quite good once it came out! Would recommend if you’re in the area and very very very hungry, but not for a quick stop.
