Absolutely delicious! Wonderful service with kind attentive staff. I came at the end of happy hour and still snagged discounted guacamole and a “mixed well drink” for $6. Their vegan chorizo taco was my favorite food of the food I had, though my fish tacos and beans+rice were also excellent. Can’t wait to come back!

We had the best experience here! Our server was very helpful and kind. I got the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and everything was seasoned perfectly. The chips and salsa were very filling and flavorful. We also all got drinks which were all tasty Will definitely be back

They give big portions! I got the steak and chicken fajitas and they were delicious. It comes with either corn or flower tortillas, beans and rice, pico, lettuce and sour cream. Our server was very sweet and was very attentive. They have Coke products. They’re very close to the Bean.

First Impressions: Drawn by the lively ambiance and upbeat music, we decided to give this new Mexican spot a try while exploring the neighborhood. We were welcomed promptly, and our server was friendly and attentive—a solid start.

Food Experience: True to tradition, the meal kicked off with a small basket of chips. It didit have their warmth and freshness, and the salsa could use a touch more “homestyle” flair to elevate the flavors. To start, we had the tortilla soup, which was average. It’s missing some zest and extra delicious ‘homemade’ flavors to make it tasty. For our mains, the nachos arrived in a decent portion and hit the spot, while the trio of fajitas we ordered—chicken, steak, and shrimp—were perfectly seasoned. A tip for fellow diners: go for the flour tortillas over the corn for a better texture.

Drinks: We each tried a margarita, but both fell short on the alcohol punch. Here’s hoping they find that sweet spot to make them a bit stronger in the future.

Overall Verdict: While nothing completely wowed us, it was a satisfying experience. I’d definitely pop back in if I’m in the area, especially for a relaxed bite or to catch a game at the bar. #Tridence

Nice bar very cool vibe the guacamole didn’t have a lot of taste to it, but the drinks are delicious

I came here for the first time this past Tuesday and ended up coming back Friday night because I couldn’t stop thinking about the tacos. I saw some of the reviews talking about it being a little pricey but I think it’s worth it for The food that was AMAZING ! The seasoning and flavor! Whew! The drinks are equally strong and tasty and pretty hefty servings. And the service and vibes are amazing. All of which you can’t put a price on. I will deff be back. Aj the boss, his mother who was my server the first time, and the bartender were very welcoming and kind. I deff think more people need to hear about this place and give it a visit.

The nachos were flavorless and the queso on them was cold. The margaritas were very weak, but the fish tacos were great! There wasn’t any music so the restaurant felt empty. We got very little service and the salsa tasted like water. I would just recommend you spend more time on decorations to make it feel more inviting, and put on some music to cover the silence of the restaurant.

I recently visited Cantina on Madison, and I really enjoyed the experience! The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and the service was on point. I liked everything about the place. The only thing I would say is that the prices felt a little bit too high for a casual Mexican restaurant. Still, it’s a nice spot and worth checking out.

Chill spot in the city. Had some decent food but not amazing. A little on the expensive side but that makes sense for where it’s located. They do have decently priced happy hours and things on sale on a daily basis it seems.
