Had the El Rey Platter. Was fantastic. Food is very good here. They do the Tex-Mex thing very well. I must state that I went at a very busy time – lunch hour on a holiday Friday. So the service number should be a little better but i can only judge on my experience. The bar hostess was fantastic. I didnt wait for a table and sat at the outdoor patio. The patio jas a great raised over the road view. Very cool for viewing the cars and motorcycles that cruise through Gruene. Overall a great place to for some good food that has that mexi type vibe. Bathroom was clean. RECOMMEND.

Solid fajitas, amazing margaritas. Reasonably priced margaritas as well. Also worth mentioning that the chips were REALLY good, you can tell they’re homemade. Came here before hitting Gruene Hall because it was walking distance, and it was the perfect move. We expected it to be more packed in there, but it was nice to practically have the place to ourselves. The service was great, and our host/server was super kind. Highly recommend this spot!!

We really liked our server she was amazing!! we would give it five stars If it had been more authentic we did not know this is more like a Texan Tex max restaurant. They have a gluten-free menu.!!! Over all the experience was great and I think more people should come here!

Thus was a great place to go after a long day at work. The atmosphere was great, the service was friendly and great. Our server Isabella was really sweet, she offered suggestions and had our food out quick for a Friday night! The margaritas are on point and the Latin music wasn’t loud like some places. I would highly recommend this place and it’s close to the river!

I ordered Togo beef fajita nachos. I paid 20$ (not including tip) for these nachos I waited 40 minutes for these. I also didn’t receive chips and salsa with the nachos so I made a second 5 dollar purchase for chips and salsa. To get home and this what you provide is honestly hilarious. Will not receive my recommendation or my business ever again.

A cute restaurant with outside and inside seating. They have a small parking lot but there is additional parking near the restaurant where you can walk across the street and be at the restaurant. They have an outside walk up bar. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. We ordered the fajitas and they were awesome! Kids are welcome!

$$ Really cute restaurant. The margaritas were so good and strong lol. Chips & salsa were fresh. We had the street tacos they were okay. Service was just okay too. I felt like we were being rushed out. It wasn’t busy but the young girl didn’t seem to happy to be there.
