I’ve been to the other location on Main Street several times. Never disappointed. Today though, I got the roasted chicken enchilada supreme and there was gristle inside which immediately made me gag. The food otherwise was very fresh and hot. No complaints from the rest of the group. I also got the brisket taco which was delicious. Cool place too. Lots of TVs and nice bar area as well.

This was my first time here. What I got was good. Chicken teriyaki, Peruvian shrimp and fish. Service was great. I’ll have to try their cocktails next time. Not an “authentic” taco spot like la Estrella for example but still a great place to vibe and enjoy good food. That queso had a great flavor… not just basic or straight from a jar.

I went to this location and ordered 6 tacos, but the portion of meat I received wasn’t even half of what it should’ve been. I took the food back inside to complain, and they remade the tacos—but still gave me the same small amount of meat. At that point, I requested a refund.
When they remade the order, I was told the portions were small because they were getting ready to close. The manager even said that if it wasn’t enough meat, she could add more—but that shouldn’t be necessary. I should receive the correct portion automatically, especially when I’m paying full price.
For context, I placed my order over the phone at 8:30 PM and arrived at 8:58 PM. Google lists their closing time as 9:30 PM. They claimed they were closing at 9:00 PM, yet the restaurant was still full of customers. Using “we’re closing” as an excuse for smaller portions is unacceptable.
The most disturbing part was after I received my refund and was leaving the parking lot, a man ran out of the restaurant behind my car, appearing as if he was trying to get my license plate number. That behavior was completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and made me feel uncomfortable.
Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing—from the portion sizes, to the excuses, to the behavior after the refund ! I also went to cantina on main st the very next day and you can clearly see the difference

Went to this cantina tonight. We are locals and love cantina, but when I ordered a bourbon drink from the Valentine’s Day special drinks, this is what I received. Could barely sip it with the amount of ice and when I did, it tasted like licorice? Was horrible. My husband got an old fashion and it tasted like they dumped fireball in there, added a cherry and called it an old fashion. I wanted to return it but our waiter just disappeared. Really upset because we love Catina!

Cantina is always a safe option for Mexican-themed food (not authentic Mexican). Nothing there is spectacular, but they have decent tacos and other similar dishes. The parking is often a nightmare and service is ok, not great.

So I just left Cantina 76 on Devine Street. I chose to sit in the outside dining area. I was out there alone until a couple walked in with a dog. As I’m eating my appetizer the guy at the other table behind me makes a phone call telling someone on speaker that he’s sick with a stomach virus and has been for 2 days. He said he didn’t go to work or school because he’s been throwing all day and doesn’t have an appetite. So I guess he came there to keep the female he was with company while she ate. He actually said she was ordering food but he was not. So I went to the front counter and requested for my server to come see me. I told her the situation and she went to get the manager. He comes to the front and says “I heard you have to leave in a hurry but I’ll just charge you half of what your ticket would be” Keep in mind I only ordered an appetizer that I left on the table with my drink. Didn’t get the chance to order. Definitely will not be returning and I go there at least twice a week. My server was super sweet though. I’ve had her a couple of times and she’s always nice and courteous. But I can’t remember her name.

We ordered catering for a family event and it was perfect! The entire process from working with Brandi to pick up was seamless. All of our guests enjoyed the food. 10/10 would recommend and order from again.

Food was great. We had the tacos to include the corn tacos which were gluten free. Tasted really great. I believe it was $4.95 per taco which for $15 on more authentic restaurants you could probably get a little more like rice and refried beans. Server (Sarah) was extremely friendly and hospitable for my gluten free needs. Thanks I appreciate it. So is the atmosphere for a lunch time rush on Thursday.

Their tacos are to die for. My favorites are the Peruvian shrimp and jalapeno shrimp. Servers are always good and good comes out super fast. Love coming here for happy hour. Do wish they’d add a kids menu at some point because our server was a little confused when we ordered a side of plain chicken for our son but they’re very willing to accommodate, which I love.
