Been eating here for 25 years!! Food is consistently SO GOOD and reasonably priced… like a home cooked meal in a warm friendly place. They make their own bread! Specials are always fantastic. Servers are so nice. Absolute gem of a spot.

Old School Cool Blue Plate Special change everyday, true old-school our grandparents grew up on. So cool almost 50 year’s same owners packing the place with down home great food. Famous for the daily baked bread, biscuits n gravy and breakfast. Named on of metro Detroit Best Breakfast 2019 by WDIV viewers. Long time waitresses Lisa making us feel right at home. Blue Plate Special Meatloaf with Peas n Mashed spot on Wonderful. Wife had a mega Omelette n Taters with Onions n Green Peppers chopped inside. Got a Cheesey Winnie be Hot dog Stuffed with Cheese Wrapped with Bacon Delightful Delicious. Me Country Fried Steak Biscuits n Gravy with Honey I smashed into Butter just a Hillbilly thang enjoying since a kid. Step back into 1970s dining room with really cool double padded bucket seats at the counter. Great location on Grand River just South of 8 Mile. A regular hangout for 3 generation of families, seems waitresses know all the regulars. I loved it! I have worked down the street (since it was Botsford ) and had never been. We went for breakfast, delicious, homemade. Our waitress was so friendly and welcoming. I loved that it was no doubt a “locals spot” and even the people there were so nice to us when we came and left. I would highly recommend.

I had a meeting in the area and stumbled upon this gem due to its strong reviews—I can confidently say that it did not disappoint! Their egg white omelette was perfectly prepared, and the HOMEMADE hash browns with green peppers and onions were amazing! The service was not just impeccable but also personal. The ambiance was a nostalgic trip to a cozy, 1980’s vibe, where families and friends engaged in meaningful conversations at the table. I will be back!

Sad to say we will not be going back there, took 40 mins to get what tasted like deer meat. The 2 eggs were nasty, sent the biscuits and gravy back. And the smell in the restaurant was terrible. Not a fan. I think I had food poisoning.

What an icon is little diner. Food was so fresh and delicious. Very comfortable place with plenty of seating and parking. Highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast lunch or dinner. Looking forward to returning.
