The people working here are attentive, friendly and awesome! The food was very delicious too.
I grew up in Georgia and have been looking for good southern food for a long while. We ordered the pulled pork and some hush puppies and neither disappointed. The sauce is made in house and was great. The spicy BBQ is pretty spicy so try the mild if you’re not looking for a lot of heat.
We will definitely be coming back in the future!

The decor was festive, but the restaurant is small. If there were many people eating it would have been uncomfortable, but there was only one other person there. The waiter/owner was nice and friendly. I had the BBQ chicken burger… It was ok. Nothing outstanding about the sauce. The sweet potato fries were very good.

I ordered the Baby Back Pork Ribs with mild sauce for lunch with Red Beans and Rice and Coleslaw for the sides. I had also ordered Greens for extra sides. The ribs were very tender with slight smoke and falling off the bones. I love their mild BBQ sauce, not sweet and slight tangy. Tommy, the owner, had brought out a sample of the spicy bbq sauce and that had the heat! It was delicious. I gotta tell you, I love coleslaw. The coleslaw was well balanced and the best I’ve tasted in a LONG time. Next, Red Beans and Rice was prepared the way I like it – creamy with the red beans that you can see. There is something different about their Greens, little citrusy and some kind of spice. It was again, DELICIOUS! Tommy was very personable and down to earth. I cannot wait to go back and try another dish on their menu. A MUST TRY!

The Apple pie is terrible. I ordered through ubereats. The catfish and pulled pork was amazing. The coleslaw was a bit brown and tasted a little off. The apple pie looks extremely light like it’s only half way cooked and the crust tastes like PlayDoh. It has a salty, baking soda/flour flavor with that “old baked goods” taste. Yuck!

Ordered through Uber Eats, and got a call from the restaurant informing me that they were sold out of the ribs. Not a problem, so we agreed to a substitute on the order. I didn’t hear anything else until 30 minutes AFTER my order should have been delivered, when I received a notification that my order was cancelled. Incredibly disappointed with the customer service, and will not be ordering again.

Very small hole in the wall BBQ restaurant. Upon arrival, there were no other patrons in the restaurant and the server was incredibly attentive, to the point of awkward hovering. While the food was good, the entrees were a little overpriced for portion size.

I ordered thru Uber eats I ordered two gumbos that was watered down with minute rice, I’ve tasted can gumbo that was better, the smackin bread was disappointing, taste like bread with some sugary butter, the peach cobbler was bitter and the hush puppies were horrible no flavor. The worst $55 I’ve ever spent. The only thing that got smacked was our wallet!
