Wood fired pizza was quite good and one of the only places around that serves it. Tried the Italian meats (which was lacking in flavor but still tasty), hot honey (which was really good), and Italian sausage (which was spicier than the hot honey and had the most flavor). 6 slices a pie and decently filling. Split 3 pies among 5 with 2 also getting the lobster salad sandwich which had a tuna fish vibe and wasn’t very lobster tasting but still was tasty and good. Atmosphere was top notch. Very cozy and well decorated. Only suggestion is to get a bigger, nicer TV and put it under the window at the bar. Not too much room so get there earlier than you think.

Have been here several times and never disappointed until today. Typically order one of their gluten free pizzas. Today decided on their weekly special of pepperoni and chickpea salad. I added grilled chicken for an extra $6. As a frequent salad eater, pretty sure the chicken was precooked from some bag and blackened on the grill. The salad toppings were slim. Basically I paid $18 for a plate of romaine. Should’ve stuck with gut and ordered my usual pizza. Very disappointed and unsatisfied. Have paid less for a salmon salad at finer establishments.

Have been here many times and have had decent service.
Came in at 1910. Seated.
1925 no one to the table. Many walked by. Purposely made no eye contact and left us here unattended.
Do better. It is the locals that keep your lights on in low season.
So disappointed and will not be recommending you to anyone, since clearly you are still struggling with basic service.

I would recommend everything on the menu from the examples we ate. I ordered turkey, sliced apple and Brie on a Croissant with blackberry Dijon sauce with homemade Canoe chips. Yum! The dining room is casual and decorated with canoes, paddles, and other art. The staff worked together to provide excellent service. What is not mentioned is the Art Gallery which is connected to the restaurant and has hand crafted items and painting for every price range. It is also available for group events.

Comfortable. Casual. Pleasantly themed environment with artsy surroundings. Nice selection of small plates, burgers, pizza, salads and soups. Local wines featured. A nice added feature is an art gallery on-site with local artisan’s works displayed and for sale. Items priced to sell. Quality pieces at very reasonable prices for casual decor. Been to this establishment several times and never felt rushed or pressured. Thanks for another nice evening.

Really enjoyed the food and the quality. The atmosphere is really laid back and they have an extensive wine and cocktail menu
Be prepared for slower service on nights when they are busier because they can only put five pizzas in the oven at the time
That being said, overall, it was a pleasant experience

The Canoe Club is a nice place to stop for good food and a glass of wine. They make good fire grilled pizzas and sandwiches. I enjoy the appetizers as well. There are a few options for seating; the inside bar area and tables which is dimly lit, the “sunroom” bar and high top area ( my personal favorite) or the outside patio area off the parking lot given ample privacy with well placed vines and flowers. Staff is excellent and food and service is consistent and reliable.
