A locally owned tavern serving steak.Well I say it’s OK.A basic Choice Filet with a wedge of lettuce,a side of marinated mushrooms $42. A tad on the high side.They also serve a accompanying marinated pickle pepper pot.Why I don’t know.It does set this place apart.Standard beer,wine,cocktail list.A few flat screen wall TVs playing old movies.Again I don’t know why since you can’t hear them.
What is interesting are the one of a kind empty wine bottle light fixtures and old celebrity pictures.

My wife and I stopped by for the first time last Tuesday evening and we were both very impressed. As soon as we walked in I know we were in for a treat. Loved the atmosphere. We both loved the player piano! Food was terrific as was the service. Definitely will be on our dining rotation!

Outstanding value. We were there with friends. Their wine list was the only reasonably priced list I saw all week. The steaks were done as we ordered them and the cut of meat was tender. I think this is a little gem. Don’t miss it on your visit.

I’ve been there twice and both time have been OUTSTANDING. Their prime rib is the best I’ve ever had, and I have prime rib often. All their side dishes are very flavorful and large portioned. Their prices are the best around. If they were to make any improvements I would say it’d be in the atmosphere. I need to remind myself I’m not going there for the atmosphere. I understand though that if they poured a ton of money into the place then the prices would go up. So, leave it as it is…the most outstanding steak house in the whole area for the best prices too.

Wow! What a great place. The food was great and the staff actually knows how to wait tables. They are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. The Huge Burger was actually huge, moist and tasty. I asked for medium rare and that is exactly how it arrived. How refreshing! The tomahawk steak was a delicious 20 oz. It had the perfect char and was done perfectly. We can’t wait to go back!

Could be the best bang for the buck steakhouse in all of Southwest Florida. My pals and I had the pleasure of dining at Cannons during our annual golf outing and it was spectacular. Our waitress Carol answered all of our questions and was super smooth. The appetizers, main dishes and desserts were top drawer – Everything was cooked to perfection. Our meal would have cost five times as much at a big named steakhouse. Highly, highly recommended.

We went around 5:45pm and the restaurant was pretty empty. The order of mussels we got was huge and delicious!! Our main courses were also huge and delicious! There were a couple times where our glasses were empty for more than a couple minutes but the portions were huge and the food was delicious!

Go on Wednesday night if you enjoy traditional jazz and the American songbook. Talented musicians come and sit in. Lots of fun. The steak is great, cooked the way you like it. Love the truffle fries.

Should have wrote the review a long time ago. Wife & I had dinner here in January 2016 when it was the Rowdy Reptile. We came right away when they opened and had the place to ourselves and sat next to the piano bar. Shared their giant ribeye steak, great seasoned potatoes, mushrooms. Service was great. The only disappointment was their giant pretzel appetizer. The mustards were great… but we both felt that the pretzel didn’t have much flavor. With so little patronage, we wondered if they’d survive… and they appear to have made it… albeit under a new name. Hope the same people are with the place as when we were there.
