Had an amazing meal. Great rich flavors. Super fresh and everything (including the chips) was home made! Delicious!! Angel was super. Friendly, attentive, and his suggestions were spot on!!! Can’t recommend it enough ❤️

Unexpectedly stopped in and had one of the best meals! Authentic Guatemalan food as if we were there and it was home cooked. The food was fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. The service from Angel was excellent. We will return and we will bring friends!

We stopped in at Candy’s unplanned for our first visit and are so happy we did! The restaurant is a really pretty, welcoming space and Angel was so friendly and helpful. I hadn’t had Guatemalan food prior to our first visit and tried the dobladas, which were outstanding. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the portions were big and reasonably priced. We’ve been back since and the second trip was just as good-Candy’s is definitely one of my favorite local restaurants at this point.

This is the freshest food I have had in a restaurant I think ever. The ceviche and tortillas were freshly cut up/cooked. Our server Angel was very kind and had some very good recommendations. So much food and worth the price! We will definitely be coming back.

This place has amazing food! Stopped in for the tacos and they are fresh, amazingly tasty and very authentic. Felt like we were transported to Central America for a local meal. The food was clearly fresh, prepared to order and the prices are good. If I lived in New London, my family and I would eat here often. Nothing fancy on the inside other than the tasty food.

We always try new restaurants and support local establishments, and since we have never been here yet, we gave it a chance. We walked in on a Friday at 6 pm with no one in the place, The bar had only a few beers to pick from, coolers empty, no liquor. We sat at bar, and a very energetic man offered his help. We ordered Tongue tostadas and chicken dobladas. The food is amazing, with fresh ingredients and we even bought the salsa imported from Guatamala. The atmosphere needs serious help. I suggest, frozen margarita machine, some more colorful lights, some Guatamalan music and outdoor seating.
