Visiting Denver with friends, most from Detroit. We were told that they had great burgers and dang is that true. We didn’t realize that it’s also a place for Lions fans, which made it all the more special. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. It felt like I was transported back to the good old days of the unpretentious, community hangout. Candlelight Tavern will be a must stop for us in the future.

I’ve been here at least a dozen times. I don’t drink alcohol, but come here for the food and tbe with the people it attracts. They have a Chef/Cook named Danno. He does not prepare a single eatable that he doesn’t consider 5 Star. He has great as pride in his work and it shows. This neighborhood of Denver is blesses to have The Candlelight and KY Inn. Both neighborhood bars that serve as good or better food (not bar food) than any bar in the city.

If you want a solid burger and a beer while chilling in the “Candlelight” this place is it. I savor every bite of the burgers they make like it’s my last bite because they are so good. The ambience is perfect, the staff is chill as can be, and the burgers are simple perfection. PS dont sleep on their onion rings!

Been coming here since college and this is my sisters and I spot to be together, play darts and eat the best cheeseburger in town however they added a new blonde food runner and completely changed my love for this bar with her horrid attitude. Her getting in customers faces isn’t a cute look for the bar bar continuing to staff her.

Classic dive bar with great ambience and people. You could get come here and lose track of time for the rest of the day, which is great.
The food is nothing special. Sub-standard bar food even. The burger reminded me something you could make at home, the fries are frozen etc.
But you don’t come here for the food. You come here to watch a game and drink away your sorrows.
