I’ve dined in here before and had a really good experience. A few weeks ago, the wings were flavorful, the sauce was on point, and everything tasted fresh. Because of that, I decided to order takeout this time.
Unfortunately, the takeout didn’t live up to my previous experience. The wings weren’t tossed in the sauce which wasn’t what I ordered, and the fries arrived soggy. Overall, it just didn’t hit the same, and I was pretty disappointed.
This is just my personal experience, maybe dining in is the better option here. I’d rate this takeout order a 3/10

The Candlelight Inn is one of the very best restaurants in the area. After Bens closed a couple years ago, my family and I have struggled to find a good restaurant nearby. We finally tried Candlelight Inn, and saying that we were pleased would be an understatement. The wings were huge and crispy, and the mild buffalo sauce was very creamy and delicious, and did not have an off taste like other buffalo sauces. The portions were huge, and the chicken cheesesteak was very good, and had a spicy sauce on it. The atmosphere was cozy, but the restaurant gets very crowded, be prepared to wait. Keep in mind, they only accept cash. The prices are affordable though. Overall, Candlelight Inn is a very good restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem. Great wings and bar food. Prices are fantastic. All cash. Parking gets tight. We had a but of a wait. Dining room seats only 38 +10 at bar. When there is a wait walk in and write your name on the list.

Ordered takeout and had to wait for the food, so it should have been fresh. Took about a 10-minute drive home and somehow the wings were already soggy while also being overcooked. The waffle fries were basically a wet paper towel — decent flavor, but absolutely zero crisp. Mozzarella sticks were the only bright spot; those were actually good.
This place feels like it gotten too big for its own good and has really gone down hill. I was really looking forward to it since I hadn’t had Candlelight Inn in a while, but this was a huge letdown. Very disappointing experience and I’ll never order from here again.

I enjoyed going to the Candlelight Inn. The food, service, and atmosphere were good. The servers were very kind and helpful. The place was cleaned and well maintained. The waffle fries are amazing. I highly recommend trying the waffle fries…

This is one of my favorite places to go! Omg the broccoli poppers are a must when visiting 10/10 thank me later. Love my waffle fries with cheese and the garlic bread with cheese & pep! Mild wings are the best and I don’t like spicy! They are not as spicy as well.

I highly recommend trying the garlic parm wings, which were cooked to perfection, accompanied by a side of cheese fries. We also tried their delicious burger which was made well done as asked. The food is generally good, and the restaurant hours are convenient. However, the only downside is the size of the location. It’s very small, and there’s always a wait to get a table.

I’ve been recommended this spot by people who live nearby and social media. I’ve always heard that it’s “the best” wing spot for miles and miles. This place by no means disappointed! I had three different kinds of wings with the wife and some sides and here’s what I’ve got – the hot teriyaki (a fan favorite) is just ok in my opinion, the bbq bourbon sauce was amazing, and the medium buffalo sauce was also outrageous. The wings themselves were perfectly fried and meaty. Gotta get them crispy and wet to dip your fries and onion rings into. Oh! Also, the waffle fries and onion rings are a perfect compliment. This truly is an outrageously good wing spot.
