Cancun Mexican Grill in Alma is a great option for Mexican food in the City of Alma. On par with Tacos & Tequila.
The food is pretty good. Not the greatest ever but you won’t be disappointed. Quite tasty.
The service here is also pretty good. The speed at which your meals come out is impressive. Great job!
The restaurant and dining areas are aesthetically pleasing and clean. There is a bar area you can choose to sit at if you wish. There is a choice of booths or tables and chairs. The restrooms are very nice.

While I was in the area to pickup a guitar body that I had a custom paint job , I took my painter buddy out to eat. Recommend Mexican and we went to Cancun in Alma , Michigan. I had eaten at the Cancun in St.Johns on many occasions so I new that it would be a good meal. I ordered the Pineapple Fajitas that have Chicken,Steak and Shrimp served in a half pineapple.
This was an amazingly flavorful surprise. With refried beans,rice,sour cream, guacamole and salsa on a side plate and three shells you construct your fajitas to suit yourself.
Initially I thought three shells were not enough,but I was FULL after eating the three fajitas. I still had plenty of meats in the pineapple for a meal or two at home.
I requested the best hot sauce that they had as the selection on the table was OK but not as hot as I like. The waiter returned with a small bowl of what looked like a homemade dark greenish sauce. This was awesome and had a good deep heat to it.
I highly recommend this restaurant for great food at a good price.

Had a quick lunch here during the work week. The restaurant was busy but I managed to be seated, order, ate, and paid all within 25-30 minutes. Service was as expected, the waitstaff was very friendly and kept my soda pop filled and brought more chips out after I finished the first basket. The chimichangas were superb and filling. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch or dinner and would certainly not hesitate to return.

If you’re ever in Alma and hungry, stop by Cancun Mexican restaurant. One of my favorite dishes to try are the steak tacos and house guacamole. Service was friendly along with descent timing on bring the food out. Give them a try because I do t think you will be disappointed.

This place is fantastic! Starting with the salsa, which is excellent, everything is delicious and always fresh. Service is always excellent and the atmosphere is nice. You can talk without shouting and it is clean and comfortable. We love Cancun!
