The food was amazing!! Talk about homemade! Everything tasted authentic! You can tell it was made with care and from scratch. I ordered the aguas chiles and even though it wasn’t on the menu she made it for me! It tasted so good. So good I had to come back a second time and have a chile verde wet burrito and OH MY! the tortillas are homemade! I was blown away. She says they make all their tortillas homemade. The cook is very friendly! She makes everything with care. I highly recommend this place! Update!! They have started selling sushi!! Beef and shrimp! Sooo good to my liking! Looks amazing! Smells Amazing!! And crunchy if requested!!!

Haven’t even gotten to the food yet. Im very disappointed in our service. I took my grandma for lunch (who speaks spanish!!). The waitress came to take our order and my grandma is asking what kind of meat they have due to her strict diet she cant have certain things. The lady laughed like if she was asking a dumb question. My grandma cant eat alot of things so she likes to at least enjoy what she can have!! I don’t think she is being picky however the waitress proceeds to go to the back and talk smack about my grandma loud enough for her to hear! Telling the cook everything that was said and stated she was being pick “just eat and go”. Im very disappointed and upset for my grandma to have over herd that.

This was our first time at Canales Restaurant and we were not disappointed! The staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic. I had the carne asada sope along with a ground beef taco combination plate while my wife had the tamale and taco combination plate. The sope was huge and the entire meal was delicious and freshly made. We will definitely be going back.

Stopped for lunch and I’m not eating carbs but I wanted Mexican food and when I told the lady In the front that I wanted a burrito bowl no tortilla or beans and rice she helped me out and made one even though it’s not on the menu she understood what I meant and then she made an awesome plate.. that needs to be on the menu it’s was delicious and filling
