Super cute 50s style diner in the heart of quaint, up and coming Canal Winchester. Our waitress was sweet and we got to see her enormous Great Dane so that was a plus. Food was wonderful. I got two large and thick pieces of sourdough with my order of bacon and pepper jack omelette and home fries. My friend and I sat and caught up for nearly two hours and didn’t feel rushed out. I will definitely be back.

Alright, so I am guilty of sleeping on this little gem in Canal Winchester. I’d like to offer a formal apology to the owner. I have lived behind this little diner for the last 3 years. This was my first experience. Epic fail on my part. I will continue to frequent this establishment for the foreseeable future.
The ambiance in the diner is cute and kitschy. My daughter and I decided to wait till lunch to go in for a late breakfast. She ordered the breakfast bowl (as on the menu) it was fantastic. Potatoes were definitely hand cut. Eggs were cooked properly and the dish was seasoned well. I decided to go with the chicken fried steak breakfast. The gravy was outstanding! Seasoned to perfection and shockingly not glue for being a half an hour before closing. We ordered the French toast to go and it was phenomenal.

It’s very much an old fashioned style diner. Service was excellent food was outstanding prices reasonable. When I ordered the homemade cinnamon roll I wasn’t expecting one the size of my plate and I wasn’t expecting my sourdough toast to be the size of Texas toast. I’m looking forward to going there again soon.

First time visitor on 6-18-2024. The service is great. Friendly young waitresses make you feel welcomed. I had corn meal mush which was outstanding, however, the rest of the meal was tasteless, flavor less, and incredibly tough to cut. Steak and eggs and the ribeye sandwich were practically inedible because the steak was unseasoned and difficult to chew. I was hoping to make this a staple place to stop and eat, but the staple search continues….

Rare find today. Someone who knows how to cook eggs. My eggs Benedict poached eggs were perfectly done. My friends over easy eggs were again, spot on! Our server was prompt patient and engaging. Thing were timely and coffee was filled without asking. These young people give hope for their generation.

This was my first time eating here and it was not a great experience. I am an experienced server so I understand when things get messed up sometimes. I am very lenient, and yet I was still disappointed. Our server was friendly and attentive so this is no hit on her. I ordered sausage patties and the one I could barely cut through at all it was so burnt. I guess they cook some stuff first and then set it to the side and leave it? I believe it was the owner who came up to me and offered me fresh sausage patties. Why is your food not already fresh especially with the wait times you have? The second set of sausage patties I was given (which was after we had finished up our food and handed a bill) were raw. We had dirty silverware so I asked for a hot cup of water to try to cleanse them better, and both of the plates I was served were chipped. I looked back towards the grill line and a ton of plates in the restaurant need replaced because someone could ingest broken pieces of plate in their food or they can shatter. My bill wasn’t discounted at all, granted I didn’t ask for it, but I felt as though it should’ve been considered after I couldn’t actually eat my entire meal. I let my server know about the sausage and she apologized a big deal in which I told her I know it’s not her fault.
