Went to Canal Port for the very first time today after hiking in starved rock State Park for a while. Had a seat outside and Prudence absolutely took care of us. The steak salad and fish sandwich were some of the best we have had in a very long time; huge portions. The deep fried mushrooms are incredible.
Great food, super-friendly service, and an excellent atmosphere. You can’t go wrong! We’ll be back for sure.; I’ll bet you will make this a regular stop as well.

What a great place Bar tenders were friendly and efficient. Shout out to Rhi and Nora they were awesome. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxing.
They food is average nothing special, not bad but need a better burger selection.

Every visit has been amazing. Always greeted with a smile, no matter how busy they were. Nora behind the bar and the hostess at the door always make us feel welcome. Manager, Prudence always paying attention to us and everyone around us needs. She treats the staff and customers with the most kindness attitude. Kylee and Rhi have been our servers and we couldn’t of left any happier. The food has the best taste and you can tell made from fresh non frozen ingredients. Highly recommend them!

My mom and I stopped in late on a Sunday night after driving 10 hours that day on our cross country road trip, they were extremely accommodating and we felt so welcome there. Jillian took great care of us and we also had the pleasure of talking to the manager and cook, everyone was so nice! Our food was amazing, especially the prime rib!! This is a hidden gem and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a bite to eat or even a quick drink because the old fashioned was also incredible. Thanks for a great night!

On a mini pub crawl, and this was our last stop. Service was quick as there were only 4 friendly patrons at the bar. The decor was very inviting. We didn’t eat anything, so I can’t comment on the food.

Located in the Mill Street Patio area of North Utica,Canal Port is housed in an old school pub with original tin ceilings and a wood crafted bar.
Serving lunch and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere.
We stopped in for a late lunch midweek and it was not crowded at all. They offer indoor and outdoor seating.
We sat inside and enjoyed the relaxed feel. They offer a nice selection of craft beers along with sandwiches,salads and homemade soups. For dinner they serve steaks,seafood and pork chops.
Expect to wait for your food to be served as everything is made to order. I had Monterrey Chicken sandwich which I ordered fried topped with bacon, Monterrey Jack cheese and Parmesan ranch dressing. You can also get the chicken grilled. Comes with fries,slaw or bar chips. The sandwich was a good portion and reasonably priced.
My wife had the burger on a gluten free bun which they only charged her 1.00 extra for.
We were both satisfied with our selections and would definitely suggest going here for lunch instead of eating within Starved Rock State Park.

After hiking at Matthiessen, we stopped in for lunch and a drink. Our server, Nora, was exceptional. She was friendly and attentive, gave great recommendations. The potato skins were amazing. I highly recommend the reuben sandwich. Loved that we could eat outside. We will definitely be back!

Chicken Piccatta was amazing the first day, french fries were hot and tasty, Ribeye Sandwich was great and drinks were well crafted!
