Not sure about there food, but I definitely will never buy ANY of the produce ever again! They sell ppl rotten fruit! My son stopped by randomly yesterday and they sold my son some rotten soursop and had the nerve to tell him it was the “ripe” ones!! He brought them things home, I was like wth is this rotten mess. Gross! I can’t blame my son, he said the guy told him those where ready to eat lol. Well, he didn’t know wth he was talking bout!!! They knew damn well this fruit should of been thrown away and just wasted $18 on 2 pieces of fruit we can’t eat and gotta throw away! It’s had mold on it! That wasn’t right to sell nobody some rotten fruit!! Especially when they charge $15 a pound for it. I’m cool on this spot.

Camys was an extraordinary fast-casual Jamaican experience. The food was very flavorful and seasoned perfectly. It came out piping hot and you can tell the produce was handled with care. The plantains were perfectly balanced and fried well. The chicken was meaty and fulfilling with great amounts of deeply seasoned dark skin. Rice and peas had a great kick and rounded out the meal extremely well. The beef patties were also pretty decent. The counter worker needed to carry some personality to match the bold flavors of the dishes. But overall this was probably the best jerk food I’ve had in NEO.

Today will be my LAST TIME patronizing this establishment. Went here spent above average money, get home and the plantains are FULL of grease. I call and ask for the manager, a lady gets on the phone but REFUSES to identify herself and keeps asking how can I help you. Clearly, I have an issue if I just bought food and 15 minutes later I’m calling to speak with the manager. The problem with some of these establishments today is they fail to realize that the customers are why they’re in business. This place was great when they first opened but now the food and the attitudes have gone SOUTH. I had to drain the grease and recook my food in the airfryer

Guy sitting at the desk was not friendly & was not knowledgeable. As I asked him questions about the food to see if I wanted to possibly order he kept mumbling in a low voice explaining he knew nothing about the food. Who works somewhere without trying to learn the menu or at least encourage sales. Also, I never heard food being cooked & I could not smell food cooking there so not sure if the food is being made fresh or being reheated but I’ll stick to Taste of Jamaica on Mayfield rd.

I also do not like how nasty the owner’s attitude is in his/her responses to bad feedback or reviews being written about the restaurant which is super unprofessional so I would never patronage a place like this. Learn to take constructive criticism, be apologetic & work towards fixing problems & improving things bc word of mouth can make or break a business

It’s a nice little spot. They have a few interesting items on their shelves. The food was o.k. it was totally edible and fresh. The issue I had with it was that, in my humble opinion, things were a little bland in comparison to other establishments. Don’t get me wrong it was good and what I did like and appreciate is that the sodium seemed to be less in this which was nice.

This place is permanently closed, and no notice was on their website or on Google. I just left there at 11:55 a.m. est, on Saturday, 01/24/2026. The door was locked, the lights out, and inside was empty. They should have informed the public but obviously they didn’t.
