They have the best wet burritos with enchilada sauce. Worth the extra few dollars. Get the combo plate.

I used to come here a lot. Loved the burritos. However, the past 3 times I went there, I got huge attitude from the girl taking orders. The customers in front of me were treated extremely well and friendly. I get to the front of the line and received a cold fake greeting. The girl taking orders was CLEARLY bothered that I was even there. She wanted me out of there asap.
So, the other day when I go there, this same girl was on the phone taking an other, and she interrupted her call to stare at me, looking at me up down with a really dirty look and frowning. Then paused and went back to her phone call. Now, when I go out to eat anywhere, I treat all of the employees with nothing but respect. I’m never rude in any way. So I don’t think I need to be singled out and treated differently than other customers. I was told by a few people not to go there because I’m Caucasian and won’t get the same type of service as others. Well I didn’t believe that at the time, but now I think it may be true because of the dirty looks and attitude I get when I go there. I even went there with a friend, who is Hispanic and was still treated differently. Such a shame because I do like there food, but I feel super uncomfortable just walking in there because it’s obvious they have “selective” customer service habits.

Delicious food at great prices! No table service but worth it. $2 street tacos on Tuesdays with choice of meat. The carne asada was very tender. Stopped here after going to the the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner? Campos Famous Burritos is always a good choice. By far it’s been a local favorite here in Simi Valley for years. The fresh authentic Mexican flavor and quality will quickly make Campos Mexican Restaurant a place you find yourself going often. The staff is extremely friendly and quick. You can walk in and order or call ahead of time for a fast curbside pickup. If you’re dining in consider the nice outdoor patio they have. You won’t be disappointed.

I definitely recommend this place. I don’t normally leave reviews but this place deserves a mention. I’m from Denver, CO and I grew up with Mexican family and Campos reminds me of my favorite Mexican style cooking from the Midwest. Everything I’ve had on their menu has been great. And the staff is really nice and helpful. There may be long lines and a slight wait for your order, but that’s because they’re so busy all the time because their food is so good. It’s definitely worth the wait

I ordered the sour cream burrito. I didn’t think the quality and taste was worth $7 which is why I put a low rating. Friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Ordered takeout around 7:30pm on a Sunday. Chips are included in your order always. Salsa bar is okay.

Campos has the best carne asada burrito, hands down! The meat is perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor every single time. Always fresh, delicious, and made just right. My go-to spot for authentic Mexican food!

The worst breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! It’s an older place and shows it! I’ll never return to this mediocre place. Even though I’m not too far from it and walk from my apartment on Cochran, I’ll just go Tommy’s Burger, where their breakfast burrito is the best and have been buying it since the 80’s in the San Fernando Valley restaurant across the street from the Budweiser Brewery facility.

Nice little mom n pops restaurant, fairly small dining area but decent, can take to go, great Mexican food options, expect a limited amount of tortilla chips or pay for more, great Horchata! I LOVE the carnitas. I could live on pork. Simi Valley area is pretty nice. Close to freeway and gas stations. Lots of parking.
