An excellent venue to have breakfast (before 11 AM) with efficient, attentive service. I had a Steak Omelet while the Missus dined on Huevos a la Mexicana. It was excellent in its entirety, the tortillas were soft and fluffy, staff was friendly and the venue was clean. Service was expeditious, so if you’re looking to get in and out quicker Campo Azul is a good choice. Highly recommended.

They charged three dollars and something for this tiny amount of queso the chip won’t even fit in there. Very disappointed and feel cheated. The taste is great though.

Me and my family recently had breakfast here the food was delicious and authentic. The Barbacoa plate is what I had. My husband had some egg and potato tacos and my son had the pan-kid plate. Everything was hot and yummy! Wish I would have taken pics!

My wife and I were just driving by and noticed the full large parking lot. Generally that means it’s great. Well it was terrific! We both had the $11.95 lunch specials which includes soda. Wonderful selection of items served fresh and hot. Everything is home made and is large, flavorful, and served with a smile. Living in San Antonio we have yet to find any restaurant even comparable to this one for quality that is affordable and authentic. Slightly off the main road but well worth the time and effort.

Visiting our daughter for the weekend and wanted something off of busy Main Street for breakfast! She suggested Campo Azul and we are so happy with their attentive staff, lively atmosphere and quick service.
Breakfast tacos are more like the size of a burrito! Flour tortillas are fresh and the coffee was good! We will be back!

Came to eat here while staying at the peach tree inn. So close we could walk here. The parking lot is large and offers plenty of space to park. We were seated almost immediately and had our drinks out quickly as well. They bring you chips and salsa while you wait and the chips come out warm. Ordered a side of queso as well. We didn’t have to wait long after ordering before our food came out. Everything tasted amazing. We had the fish tacos and the chimichanga. We had the sticky pudding for dessert and it tasted amazing. They had a fun set up for valentines and the staff was very friendly and attentive. When we visit Fredericksburg again we will be making this place a regular stop.

One of the very best Mexican restaurant we have ever eaten at. Authentic, tasty, and good food. Service was very pleasant and efficient. Quickly served. Atmosphere was well done. Several signs outside proudly announced that they were local Readers Choice several times. A local waiting on her group said they eat there all the time. Pricing was very very reasonable. Go eat there!!!!!

My husband loved his meal (Parrillada Campo Azul), we both LOVED the guacamole, but my dish (Steak and Shrimp) was nothing special. However, I did love it when I sliced the steak, added it and the shrimp to my side salad, and topped it with their yummy salsa and guacamole… totally transformed it! Also, my husband LOVED their flan. And the service was excellent.
