Loved this place! I hadn’t been back to greenwood since last year and noticed this was a new place. Went in not knowing what to expect and im so glad i did. The food options were more authentic mexican than tex mex and i loved that. Had some lengua tacos, sopes, and an agua fresca for dine-in and got a torta to-go with a jarrito drink. Oh and the salsa options? I lovedddd. My brother got a burrito california and he enjoyed it but could only eat half, had to save the rest for later! He said Chipotle whooo? Haha. And hey, supporting small business! All in all a great meal, friendly people, good prices, and a very laid back environment. Hope more people give this place a try! We’ll be back!

The food here is really good. As the name says, it’s fresh Mex. It is NOT a typical Mexican restaurant where you order the #21 combination platter. So far, I have stuck to the handheld meals: tortas and burritos. Both have been great. The flavor is not overpowering. It tastes like good, fresh ingredients…the way good food should taste. I could easily eat it without salsa, but the restaurant as a good salsa bar for adding great flavors. My favorites are the tomatillo salsa and guacamole salsa. They have interesting drinks and bottled beer. The atmosphere is also different from other Mexican restaurants. No servers. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Some reviewers have mentioned high prices. I paid about $25 for two burritos, but I didn’t pay a 20% tip like I would at other restaurants. The burritos were large and filling. I was absolutely stuffed, and my daughter couldn’t finish hers. I will definitely be going back.

Nah because I’ve never seen anything like this at a Mexican restaurant! Great menu, awesome workers, the set up of the whole place, and the food… just a chefs kiss. It’s a welcoming atmosphere and honestly a great place for lunch/dinner with the boys or gals. 10/10 highly recommend

Wife and I came up from North Augusta and found this place. Did not know what to expect, but it was great! Very fresh tasting. The sauce area gave it a very unique touch, and they were amazing! Small dining area.

Love Tex-Mex food and was excited to have a new place in Greenwood so we gave it a try. Not impressed. First it’s self serve, didn’t know that or would not have stopped. Ordered steak fajitas, seasoning was bland and small pieces, the tortilla was warm but tasted raw. The refried beans were OK, i didn’t taste the rice. It came with a smalll cup of toppings guacamole, pico de gallo and cheese. The salsas and other toppings were at the self serve table. The guacamole was basic, there was onion in it and cilantro. My husband ordered a steak quesadilla. Never seen one quite like it. It was full and about 1/2″ thick, cut in half and had some cheese and the meat was small shredded pieces which made it look like mush in a tortilla. He ate it but not much flavor.
It was not cheap for self serve and mediocre food. $42 for just us two.

Friendly people, laid back atmosphere, great food! It tastes fresh and a great value! They give you aloooot of food. It would cost me alot more to get full at TacoBell, which might not even be real meat.
