Operationally and culinarily deficient.
This restaurant demonstrates a fundamental lack of professional standards. During service, an employee publicly reprimanded a server on the dining room floor, in full view of guests. That is not a lapse it is a systemic management failure. Any operation with basic hospitality discipline understands that internal issues are handled off the floor. The result was an immediately compromised dining environment and degraded service.
From a culinary perspective, the menu lacks both authenticity and execution. What is labeled as Mexican cuisine is undistinguished, low-grade Tex-Mex, prepared without nuance or technical care. Seasoning was flat, components were poorly integrated, and dishes showed no evidence of freshness, balance, or regional understanding. The food reads as commodity-driven rather than intentionally cooked.
A restaurant’s credibility rests on two pillars: how it treats its staff and what it serves its guests. This operation fails both tests. Until leadership addresses front of house professionalism and raises the kitchen beyond mediocrity, this establishment cannot be taken seriously as a dining destination.

Ricardo provided exceptional polite, friendly and attentive service. Restaurant was nice to dine in, lights a bit bright in main but we were given a table off to the side for our group which wasn’t as bright. Food was well priced for the serving sizes and the taste was amazing. One of the best restaurant meals I have had on my travels. Only feedback would be serving team seemed to be under pressure hopefully back of house or food chain unrealistic expectations aren’t the reason for this as all the staff were friendly and I thought it was unnecessary making them rush around and at times running to get an order out. Not marking down the stars for this as review is for service, dining experience and food. Great food experience to end my trip with.

This place used to be an easy favorite and go-to spot. We used to love it, but I’m not sure what changed over the last few months. Service is great most days, but this is the third time we’ve eaten here in the last 5 months where the servers were just in a group chatting, the plates were dirty, the limes and onions for tacos seemed questionable, and the flan was terrible. I always order flan, and have loved it. The last 3 times I have ordered flan it tasted burnt or like they added alcohol? Maybe I missed a menu change? Either way, we’ll be finding a new go to spot.

Never been here but decided to try it for Father’s Day. I was NOT disappointed! Soo delicious! The staff was helpful and friendly, the other patrons were friendly, and the whole family had a great experience! If you’re in Richlands, give it a go.

Out of all the mexican restaurants ive been to, this was my least favorite. I ordered a chicken quesadilla. For some reason there was this liquid like substance around the quesadilla and in it. The chicken inside the quesadilla didnt not taste good. I took 1 bite and I had to spit it out. I threw it away. The rice was decent. The beans seemed like left overs. And the tamale was very plane. Won’t order from here again.

We are from Kinston, witch is about 45 minutes away. We where taking our daughter to see a long time friend who came to town to visit. We all went out to eat here. Our first time. The food was just amazing. No other way to explain it. I have to say the best Mexican food we have ever had. The food is priced very well also. Affordable! The restaurant was very clean and our server, Jennifer was the best. She was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be taking a trip back here just to try more food.

Customer service was not the greatest. The waitress that took our order messed up the order. We asked for a kids cheese quesadilla and a cheese enchilada both were served enchiladas with meat. The food was awful and disgusting to top it off. Don’t waste your time and money.
