Camillo’s is a family-owned and operated restaurant. You’ll immediately taste the difference between Camillo’s and “ordinary” run-of-the-mill Italian restaurants. The difference between “premium” ingredients and “cheap” ingredients is this… we use fresh garlic cloves, 100% extra virgin olive oil & sun-ripened tomatoes imported from Italy.

My husband and I get the large stromboli whenever we get food here, since it’s 6 servings for $20. The stromboli is the best I’ve ever had. The service was quick and the staff helpful, but if you’re looking for the very personable and friendly servers of a small town restaurant, I personally didn’t find them here. Overall, if you’re looking for a high quality meal with leftovers for a good price, you should get the stromboli.

Lovely food. I recommend the Shrimp Scampi with Fettuccine and the Lobster Ravioli. Camillo’s pasta dishes are better than their pizza, in my opinion. Sometimes the service is a bit slow, so plan ahead on a date night!

Camillio’s is one of my all time favorite restaurants in the greater Reading area. The food is fantastic. The service is spectacular. And it is such a joy to have a seat and enjoy the atmosphere. I highly recommend the trotolle, the best I’ve had and I get it almost every time.

Great place, great food, great service. They are top notch. We sit outside and have a beer with dinner and our kids. They are ALWAYS accommodating. Great cheesesteaks and the other food is good as well.

So, the food was really good, and the service was ok, but the restaurant wasn’t very clean… Like our glasses were questionable, and the curtains were crooked. I might eat there again but it isn’t a place I’d tell my friends about.
