Excellent! Wow. 1st time here. Amazing service and food. Awesome hashbrowns and legit the best coconut waffle ever! We even got to meet the owner today. She was so fun. Love this place.

My husband and I went for the first time today. Wow, we were blown away!
The food was great, but the staff was what really made it special. The owner, Sue Gee, was so warm and welcoming. She made us feel like long time customers! And the staff was fun- joking around, having a good time. If you’re looking for a reserved, prim place, this won’t be your cup of tea.
We are so bummed that we don’t live in Portland anymore, or else we would be going all the time.

If you didn’t know a hot cake is the same thing as a pancake. Food is great service was lovely and they even had a guitar player providing beautiful bossa nova style background music for me to enjoy while eating my breakfast.

The building is really unique. Definitely one to remember. It was very chaotic and busy but the food was hot and delicious. 10/10 I can’t wait to come back.

Food: It’s a cafe with American/Korean-American infused breakfast-lunch dishes.
Ambience: Feels like you’re at your grandmas house. Has a unique 1970’s living room vibe. The sliding glass door entry to the restaurant is very unique.
Customer service: Phenomenal! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Best part of our experience was Sue. She’s a beautiful soul with a friendly personality. She greeted, hugged us and thanked us for having visited her establishment. Only twice in my 47 years on this earth have I ever met a restaurant owner that is very loving and kind. Truly a blessing for having met her.

Okay, So you’re staying at the portland airport at one of the many hotels around the airport. Forget the breakfast at the hotel. It’s never the best anyways. Do yourself a favor and come out to this quaint little restaurant. You will be so happy you did.

Great food and attentive service with a fun, friendly atmosphere. I passed by this place a dozen times and never knew it would be this good. Place like this is what makes Portland a great city to explore. Not for the by the numbers, suffocating weed shops or the dumb ass burlesque shows. Fun and cozy places with genuine personality that’ll stick with you long after you leave.
Try their coconut waffles, they’re great with some of the best bacon I’ve had.

I absolutely love this place. I don’t have the excuse to go here very often, but I drop by when I can. The restaraunt is dripping with personality with all the decorations and the service has ranged from adequate to personable. A few times I have been they had live music playing, which was nice. The food though? Best I’ve ever had at a Cafe. I’ve tried about a third of the menu and every dish has been stellar. Prices are very reasonable; this is not some super pretentious overpriced Portland brunch place, this is the real deal. Highly recommended.

This is the most unique pancake restaurant I’ve ever visited. It’s fun to see big grown men in Carhartt sitting on tiny bistro chairs. Everybody loves the food. I can see why it’s so popular.
