My siblings and I were visiting the area to view a property. So the property was disappointing, but we decided to make a day of the visit, and we thought we tried out Cameleon Cafe for breakfast. Needless to say, We could have done much better.

This place is awesome. Local fresh delicious food with friendly staff! Chips and salsa were fresh, spicy and flavorful! Had the Green Chili Fries and they were delicious! Like a Mexican poutine! I ordered a cup of green chili soup to ensure I had enough to drown those fries. Loved the green chili sauce/soup. You must try something with it. The tamale was beautifully authentic and very tasty. The burrito was huge and packed full of shredded beef with incredible flavor. “Best burrito I’ve had in my life” says my dining partner. Tostada was fresh and had perfectly ripe tomatoes and good flavor. Great food and a great value. We left absolutely stuffed! This place is a short walk from the Tesla Supercharger. Take the walk and support local business. We came back two days later on our way east and had lunch again! This place is a gem. Loved the chili relleno, tamale, rice and beans. All had good flavor! The enchilada was just cheese topped with the green chili sauce. The cheese inside wasn’t melted, but it tasted okay. Service was good.

Stopped by around 4pm for a late lunch. The BLT was good, so were the fries. 1 star because the fried chicken, advertised in the KOA’s pamphlet that it’s “homemade” was frozen in the middle. Not a big deal but the waitress didn’t show any remorse or give any apology. When we got there and were asking for recommendations she basically told us to look at the menu for their “featured” items. Anyways, wouldn’t recommend.

Definitely a hole in the wall/locals kind of place. When traveling I enjoy stopping in little places. Friendly staff. The food was good and generous portions. I got the special of the day which was only $6. It included chips and salsa, three beef tacos, rice, and beans. I really liked that they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner at night. Wide variety on their menu. No kids menu but my two little ones shared three pancakes which were quite tasty! The chicken chimichanga was huge and yummy. Weird little tidbit… they had really good chewy ice! If you like to crunch ice you know what I mean.

The best chimichanga I’ve had in 30 years! I live in Alabama and couldn’t find good chimichangs anywhere. This place took me back to my days in San Diego. Our server was friendly and our food was delivered promptly. It was a wonderful homemade meal on our way from Phoenix to Bama.

I had the displeasure of placing an online order this morning through door dash, for a an in person pickup at the Camaleon Cafe. When I arrived my girlfriend went to pick it up, only to come back empty handed a few moments later.
