We had a great experience at Calypso. Our server was awesome. He was attentive and seemed like he was basically running the whole restaurant, but still made sure we were taken care of the entire time.
The happy hour is fantastic. We tried several things including the calamari, steak bites, and sesame seared tuna, and honestly ate every bite. The oysters were fresh and the drink prices were great.
We also brought our dog and really appreciated the large outdoor deck and the view. They even brought out a water bowl for him, which was a really nice touch. Overall a really fun place to hang out with good food, good drinks, and great service.

I just got to VB from a long flight and even it was late (about 11:00 pm), all the servers and bartenders were very friendly and ready to take my order. I had Shecrab soup + House Salad and a Beer and it was all really good! Definitely a spot to visit at Virginia Beach!

WOW! We came to this place on a whim and we were not disappointed. The calamari ($15) while pricey was delicious. Everything we ordered was phenomenal— especially the Pesto Pasta! The steak could have been more rare but had a good flavor. Serving sizes were just right. The cocktails were pricey ($12 each) but they were good. Strong and tasty.
Our server, Carly, was excellent! Very nice, informative and checked on us frequently to refill drinks. She was the best!
What we got: Market Price Steak, Pesto Pasta with Chicken, the Calamari and the Southern Chicken sandwich (Grilled w/ Jerk Sauce).

of food! We had about a 15 person group, (graduation party) that seemed kinda overwhelming to our waitress! Just my opinion! I ordered a drink, my fav “Long Island Ice Tea”, it took forever to get it, and it wasn’t cold at all.. like it was made, but sat on the back!! But I did like the vibe

Watched a Premier League game with friends. I had a blast! The food was good & the service was great! The manager, Hemanth, is accomodating and super friendly…unfortunately he’s not a Chelsea fan #goblues
