I have been here before with a good experience and was extremely disappointed when I was there Sunday with my family. We sat at a table and our server, Brit was extremely rude and did not seem to want to be there, no smile, just plain miserable,. We waited for a refill on our drinks for 20 minutes and finally went to the bar to get them, our food came out cold, was probably sitting under a warmer for 10 minutes while she disappeared. It seemed all she wanted to do was sit at the table with the owner or scroll on her phone. We were very sad to see the changes, don’t know if it’s the addition or what, but the vibe is not the same as in past visits. It does not feel like the warm family atmosphere it has been in the past. Probably will not return.

The employees and owners are wonderful and have a passion for making you feel welcome and appreciated. The prime rib was so good! Melted in your mouth! The drinks were perfect! We drove for three hours to get there, and look forward to doing it again. We have to go back to see the remodeling they are doing ! A nice additional perk was the hotel across the street. Nothing special but a great place to sleep and they did have a coffee pot in the room. They had picnic tables and fire pits, a nice setting on the water to enjoy both the sun and the moon! Cals serves breakfast too, so it felt like everything we needed was there! Way to go Kent and Michelle! 5 STARS!

A Grateful Soul
We were there on etched night. Unplanned, and the place was packed. We didn’t want to play cards; just went to eat. The owner greeted us right away, asked about our needs, and got us a table in a very short time, just as he’d promised. The food was good tasting, hot, and plenty of it. Priced reasonably. We each had a drink; they were good, too! Friendly staff. We’ll go back!

Cal’s Corner is an excellent local bar where the staff is very friendly, the food is very tasty (mostly bar food). Fish Fry on Fridays was taste. Great place to catch a sports game. We caught the end of the brewers win when we stopped in!!

First time there. The fish fry was very good. All the other food was delicious. They are still remolding and adding so for right now the tables are close together which added to the noise level. I recommend it.
