This was our first visit to the Call Street Cafe and we agreed that the food had a good homestyle taste. We ordered a patty melt with chips. The patty melt was good and cooked to our satisfaction. It had onion, cheese and thousand island dressing on toasted bread. The dressing gave it a nice flavor. The chips were bagged chips which were kind of bland until we added salt and pepper. I had lemonade and hub had soda which came in canning jars which was fun. Service was attentive. The atmosphere is spacious and tables are not on top of each other which was nice. There is a section of the restaurant with toys and books for small children which we liked as we like to have our small grandchild visit. They also serve coffees, teas and smoothies. This is a breakfast and lunch only place. We will be going back to try other items on the menu.

It’s the best place to eat in Starke! Great selection of breakfast items like traditional breakfast and different bowls. Lunch items are just as great. Burger is solid. Service is usually a little slow, they need to get more help. Other than that it’s wonderful. We love supporting our local cafe.

My wife, our friends, and I needed to find a place to eat in the late afternoon and were fortunate to find the Call Street Cafe. Because it was late in the afternoon it wasn’t too crowded but the small crowd was no indication of the quality of the food — it was very good. The service was good and the waitress was very attentive to our needs. My wife had a half-Cobb salad with a side of fresh fruit and I had a half Santa Fe salad with a side of Turkey Bacon chowder. The half salad was very large and the size of a regular salad in other restaurants. The Turkey Bacon chowder was different but very good. Everyone in our party was more than satisfied with the quality of the food and the price was fair for what we received. I would recommend Call Street Cafe for everyone.

Always great food and great service. The staff very friendly, happy to help with all your needs, answer any of your questions, and just pleasant, they all seem to truly enjoy their jobs. I love their huge French toast platter called “The Plank”. I also love their Corned Beef Hash, most definitely not your typical canned like product .Already filled my Loyalty Card and ready to fill another. Also have Glutenfree options. Love this place.

My daughter’s Cuban sandwich was very full, and she really enjoyed it. She also had a decent side of green salad. I had a shrimp (3 only) and spicy sausage on the grits in a bowl. Was not impressed. Paid slightly under $15, and it was spicy HOT. I don’t recommend that dish

A simple looking restaurant with fantastic food and excellent service. If you don’t need to be in a fancy place and enjoy good wholesome food this is it. Little corner for the children to play which was cute for the kids. We had a great time meeting up with our friends here. If you don’t care about being fancy and you want good food you would enjoy this.

Friendly service and delicious food from fresh healthy choices. We stopped in for lunch and had the soup of the day (creamy spinach) and 3 different sandwiches – all of them were delicious. Will definitely come back again to try more of the menu items.

Cute little place! Stopped for an early lunch. Had the Cuban sandwich (with homemade pickles!) and potato salad; my wife had the turkey cranberry sandwich plus fresh fruit All were delicious.
