We were greeted by the hostess at the entry stand and informed that there would be a 30 minute wait eventhough there were several open and clean tables. After declining a wait and turning to head out the door, we were offered open seating at the bar. We accepted the open bar seating. Service was slow and the kitchen was backed up. The Thai chicken pizza was good but could have been hotter.

We alighted at the terminal stop at Downtown Long Beach. Since we wanted to have pizza, we had the Burnt Ends Pizza ($21) at California Pizza Kitchen. For drinks, we had the refillable Peach Lemonade ($4.5) and Passion Fruit Mango ice tea ($3.7). The total came up to $36.
Even though we just missed the Happy Hour from 3pm to 6pm, we were surprised that there were still quite a number of people who came in for dinner. The Burnt Ends Pizza was tasty and we enjoyed the really tender and flavourful BBQ brisket…

Waiting for a table 45 minutes is not worth it. Came twice, ate only once. First visit waited 45 min, saw empty tables but could not stand the heat and left. Second visit waited 25 min, got in. Pizza is average. Frozen pizza of same brand tastes better at home. Wanted one star, but give two for the excellent waitress.

This review is based on poor management. One employee as hostess, and take out handler. We waited 45 minutes from the moment we gave our name to leaving. There we many empty tables, people sitting had no food and dozens of people waiting at the door and outside. Management forgot they are located across the Convention Center. He/she should keep track of events and staff the restaurant properly. I am unable to review food or drinks. We were so hungry and the kids were desperate. Terrible service!

Excellent customer service from the hostess, to the food runner. The Burnt End BBQ Pizza was delicious! My son also enjoyed his kids pepperoni pizza. However, our Cobb Salad, look beautiful when it arrived, but had browning lettuce that was off putting & I wouldn’t get again. Overall, 4/5 stars..I’d come back again for the pizza!

It had been a while since I last stopped by, since I don’t usually frequent big chains. I was pleasantly surprised to see an updated menu. The food was flavorful, the wine selections were decent, and the service was attentive. The salmon with the broccolini was surprisingly tasty. Id comeback for sure.

Worst run restaurant I’ve ever seen. How does the general manager still have a job? Absolutely insane. Look at the reviews, constantly talking about empty tables and not sitting people. Happened tonight as well. Shut this place down. And don’t bother leaving your basic, pathetic response to my review. Everyone that works here should be utterly embarrassed.
