Alot of people have told me to try California burritos saying it was better than Chipotle. The only thing better seemed to be the price. The portion size was not large, but decent for 9-10$. Definitely lacking in certain ingredients, but with BYO fast casual places like this it all depends on the person behind the counter. Steak was pretty tender but could have used more seasoning. Hot salsa was not the level of spice I was looking for. Will have to give it another go in the future and update.

California Burritos does it again! The food is awesome. First, I have three chicken tacos and picked my toppings of guacamole, salsa Verne, crème, lettuce and corn- 2 soft 1 hard. Chicken is full of flavor and delicious. Next we have the carne asada fries. The fries kind of reminded me of the nacho fries from Taco Bell. The steak was OK -flavor was great And we just got it topped with the way it comes. Overall I would give it a 7/10 not really my thing but still good. Lastly we have the papusas (the real reason I came) they are delicious- crispy outside, pull cheese worthy inside with beans. Yum. We did wait in a 8-10 minute line and the pupusas take a bit to make but it tastes authentic and fresh so I personally think it’s worth the wait. The meat is getting cooked right there freshly in front of you and you can see them hand making the pupusas. I’ll be back … again :]

Stopped in after work for a quick dinner. There was a decent sized line, but the wait was absurd. It shouldn’t take over 20 minutes to service 8-10 people. The food was not only awful but does a number on your stomach. The place was dingy and depressing. If you’re in the area there’s plenty of other options.

Tonight was my last straw with this location. Consistently skimp on toppings for your burrito. Constantly making mistakes. I have to say I want chicken 3 times instead of steak for my California burrito. They’ve even put steak inside a couple times regardless of me saying a chicken Cali burrito. I’ve ordered the chips and salsa and they didn’t even put the salsa in the bag. This time they couldn’t even give enough salsa for 5 chips. Understaffed to deal with the dinner rush. I’ve waited 30 minutes in line before aswell.

GREAT spot for authentic food. Everything I’ve had so far on the menu is good, but the pupusas and horchata are EXCELLENT. Great value and super clean place. I used to go to Nashua to eat here, happy to see them expanding into Manchester!

Great food. The wait can get insane. Seems like sometimes they service so many online orders the dine in experience is so slow. I’ve been there at least a half dozen times and at least 3 times I stood at the front of the line watching them make online orders. Two times was over a 15 minute wait at the front of the line.

Asked them to make it EXTRA spicy. They put green salsa on it and that was it. When I confronted the man behind the counter about it, he simply said that I could “not handle the hot”, to which I couldn’t help but laugh because I order it ALL the time. Food was great though, minus the lack of heat.

Honestly I love this place but today 10/28/25 at 6:30 pm I’m the Manchester Area wasn’t the best experience. The reason I go here is because the ingredients are fresh and the quantity is pretty good, with todays exception the lettuce was not at it’s best the chicken portion according to manager is the “reg portion” and me as a 1+ yr customer that was half of the reg portion we talking about a salad it should a decent amnt, and in order to have my reg size portion i had to get “extra chicken” idk what happened to cali burritos but this will make me not even want to go because will no longer be as affordable as it used to be, the manager was also not as friendly. Hate to give these type of reviews but it’s a suggestion that they should reevaluate the reg portion.
