Upscale, Mexican restaurant with natural and real real cocktails and food offerings. Caution: Lake Tahoe has become somewhat of an overcrowded destination, so make sure you make a reservation or you may not be seated. If you’re looking for a great food, and want something nicer than a Taqueria, this place is among the best in the Tahoe.

The salsa looked like you were eating pizza sauce and they charge you 5$ for chips and salsa. The steak fajitas looked like it was very very cheap meat some of them were very stiff not much flavor at all paid 32$ for it and they gave us hardly any meat mostly all veggies I don’t recommend this place to anyone worse Mexican food I have ever had in my life. The service there was terrible. The atmosphere there was okay

This place used to be good. Food took over 45 minutes to be served. Couldn’t find the fish in the fish Taco and charged us $23 for a bean burrito with 5 undercooked beans in it. The poor server tried but you can’t rescue food this bad.

Service was barely competent for our group of 12. The waiter had to be looked for to serve and refill waters and alcohol drinks. My son observed that during one of his searches for our server, he found him keeping a piece of papaer afloat with four other servers with the toes pf their shoes. Only two other parties were in the restaurant, one of seven and the other of four, both received a bit more attention from their waiters. Should you choose to enjoy great ambiance with “okay” food and less than mediocre service, eat at the bar, your server will be in front of you, and you can be entertained by the antics of too many servers scheduled for dinner trying to keep themselves amused.

Completely unsurprising tourist trap with a good view. 1 star for the view of the lake and one star for the fact that it’s not a total dive. It’s like someone saw a picture of a Mexican menu and tried to recreate it from memory. Everything is clearly from a packet or can. The service is lacking, we awkwardly walked upstairs to have two servers stare at us with no greeting. We finally asked if it was self seating and a server gestured behind him and said “the hostess is over there.” Cool. Sat at the bar to order after still not being greeted by anyone. We got to hear lots of gossip because all of the servers congregated right next to us. Just an overall unprofessional staff. Not a good spot for food, groups, or atmosphere. To top it all off the prices do not match the quality, it’s comically overpriced.
