Want to give a big shoutout to Calidad Tortas & Paletas for an INCREDIBLE team lunch celebrating Dr. Bri surviving a year with us. The food was *amazing* and they took great care of us.
They currently sit in the new Atlas Mill Park, but will be moving to 4th and Spruce come 9/4/22.

One comment to help make it even better, is the sandwich bread. We were expecting tortas bread. The current bread is good, but probably could be even better. Carne asada was awesome! We will be back for sure.

Who doesn’t love freshly prepared Mexican food? Paul at Calidad has great options (menu in pictures) and he will be parked for summer 2022 & summer 2023 at Atlas Mill Park, right next to the playground, near the waterfront.
There is no formal seating area, but there are clean picnic tables and restrooms ~100 feet from the food truck.

Just tried this for the first time, and WOW. Carne Asada sando is so good, great flavor and loved the Fresno hot sauce. Will be back for sure!

Amazing food and amazing people!! Got the Veg and the Carne Asada, very fresh and amazing hot sauce! You can tell they really care for the food they’re preparing. Definitely coming back!

Service – 5 (very nice and fairly quick)
Food – depends on what you get. Pork was very tender and the best item on the menu, but the steak was very chewy. It happens sometimes you end up with a chewy piece of flank steak to work with. But the bread used was aweful. It get spongy with all the dressings and sauces used and it’s a softer bread which is not what a torta should use. Please take this as constructive criticism as I do believe y’all have the rest of the setup right and if you fix the steak and bread issue this would be a real spot I would recommend. For now it’s a good spot if your in the area. GL

Awesome! Thanks so much for offering late food options on sherman. AWESOME flavor, no regrets, and got some of everything. Bread is awesome, meats where awesome, sauces are awesome, all fresh!

Turned out to be a terrible hot day and the bathrooms were closed. This place wouldn’t even give my dog some water or ice. I was so scared my dog would go into heat shock. Terrible
