This old west saloon has been entertaining guests and wetting whistles at Knott’s Berry Farm since its original opening in the 1940s. Located in the center of the park, the Calico Saloon is home to some of the finest beverages and even finer shows this side of the wild West. Separate park admission required to enter.

All theme park food is expensive, but alcohol is usually the most whether it’s Disneyland or Universal Studios. Knotts is no exception and, in fact, is one of the worst offenders. I wanted to try one of their signature cocktails and was surprised to find that it was all premixed and out of a dispenser. The drink was around $20 and tips were still expected even though it was pre-made and just dumped into a cup. The drink itself was some raspberry gin concoction that was neither strong nor tasty.
Where Calico Saloon shines is its ambience with that classic “old west” feeling. There is balcony seating and even a stage show that plays occasionally throughout the day. For that alone (especially on a hot day), I would reccomend checking this place out, but don’t waste money on their drinks unless you’re a glutton for disappointment.

Fun place to visit inside the Knott’s Berry Farm Ghost Town. We always stop in for a visit and love the old time atmosphere.
They now serve a variety of alcohol beverages as well as our favorite saspirilla. They also offer snacks like popcorn and pretzels.
The shows are delightful if you are lucky enough to visit when one is playing.

The best pretzels are located here at the calico saloon. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because they used to have the best cheese dip but just replaced it with a tostidos cheese dip that is absolutely disgusting!! Please go back to the old cheese dip cup!!!

I got popcorn here once, so that counts as food, right? Location is wonderful, staff are great. Will return in the future. Entrance, counter, and seating are accessible. Check with staff if any entertainment will occur during your visit.

Shhhhh! This is a tucked away lil oasis in the heart of Ghost Town … Used to serve pitchers of draft beer, now only by the $10 pint — but the scene is well worth it.. Blacksmithing, the sound and smell of the train ~ just be sure to drop by during Haunt! Where the ambiance goes foggy and dark ! Great place !
