Really creamy and not very sweet! We had lavender and it was delicious! Portion size is huge for one flavor. They go by flavors rather than scoops. One flavor is 3 scoops – the smallest.

Stumbling in on a drunk Saturday after the Padres game 8:36pm this place is definitely packed at certain moments staff is quick to get the ice cream out and are very eager to help! The ice cream shop has plenty of flavors and delicious baked goods that all feel a tad more refreshing then on the sweet side and the menus are handed out on laminated sheets to guests but no one picks up on that and give the courtesy of passing them out so their is a tad uptake on figuring out what they have when you finally get to the counter. Ultimately not bad ice cream and plenty of flavors just wouldn’t say it’s the best in San Diego.

Cali Cream absolutely delivered.
I stopped in looking for cheesecake and ended up with one of the most delicious Oreo cream cheesecakes I’ve ever had—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. It genuinely made me happy in that “this just fixed my whole day” kind of way.
My only complaint is the geography. These locations being mostly on the West Coast hurts a little because I’m from the South, and I already know I can’t just pop in whenever the craving hits. Still, that’s more of a “life isn’t fair” problem than a Cali Cream problem.
Bottom line: I loved it, and it’s absolutely on my return list for the next time I’m anywhere near a location.

Showed up and they energetically welcomed me with Big Pun playing in the background! I wanted something sweet and this place hit thr spot. I got the dark chocolate with chocolate chunks and was not expecting the three huge scoops. Very generous with servings and the ice cream tasted soooooo good. The highlight of my day! Literally recommend it to someone within an hour!

Great ice cream! So many flavors to pick from, from your standard vanilla and chocolate to various coffee flavors, fruits, and even one based on grape Skittles! Walking in I was immediately helped by a friendly dude behind the counter who helped with samples and told me about his favorites, and then another coworker piped in in fun disagreement with her top picks; so I ended up picking one of each of their recommendations, the salted caramel and the Kahlua – the Kahlua was fantastic, got the bite of Kahlua and little bits of crunchy espresso bean throughout. I’m definitely coming back

I appreciate a shop attempting to make unique ice cream flavors. In particular, I’ve always been a fan of tea/flower flavors like earl grey, jasmine, lavender, etc or alcohol flavored ice cream. I’ve watched some of my fav stores close down one by one with the remaining shops just having bland chocolate or peanut butter flavors. I’m happy that this business thinks outside of the box and is trying to give us unique options. I really like their lavender honeycomb and kahlua. Their ice cream is flavored well and it’s not too sweet. Maybe in the future they will offer ube again when I order or venture into more tea flavors. 😉 I’m happy to support a local business doing their best.

I haven’t had ice cream I enjoy this much in a long time. Tons of great flavors – all very unique. Very creamy consistency.
Price seems kinda high at first glance ($6 for smallest size/single flavor), but they give you like 3 scoops of ice cream, it’s ridiculous. So it actually ends up being a great value.
5/5 I would totally go out of my way for this and I will dream of it.

Stopped in during a trip to San Diego and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and the portions are huge. We got a flight, 4 flavors, brownie, ube/matcha, lavender honeycomb/key lime. Flavors are delicious! The brownies look very sumptuous but didn’t indulge too much! Definitely recommend!
