Always delicious treats that you can pick up from their display counter as well as cake perfection!
This particular visit I went because I heard the owner had been to Hawaii and was bringing new tropical flavors to her treats.
I got one of everything and I hope these new goodies make it to the list of regularly offered items!
The new coconut pecan cinnamon roll is absolutely divine! The chocolate Kona coffee cookies are not too sweet, but fudgy and incredible!
The passion fruit bar might be my favorite item and the little pie (forgot the name) is smooth, tart and sweet.
This new line of desserts are the perfect summer sweets! All of them are keepers and you should get at least one of each!
Cake House always has a full case of options of cupcakes, cake slices, macaroons, brownies (SO GOOD), cake pops and cookies. The turtle brownie with pecans reminds me of my grandmas German pan cake she would make when I was growing up.
Besides the delicious treats, the owner is so kind and friendly and makes everyone feel welcome.
Their staff go above and beyond at all the events we’ve been to (princess cookie decorating, bluey visit/ cookie decorating, market days, and much more).
This is a great spot for an after school cake pop treat or to order ahead for your next event.
When Rihanna released the song Birthday Cake, people thought the lyrics were about a woman’s glutes. What everyone doesn’t realize is that she was actually singing about her birthday cake from Cake House Design. But don’t let the name fool you—this bakery serves top tier desserts that go way beyond cake. Cannolis, cobblers, cheesecakes, cookies, cupcakes, they’ve got it all! And yes, even desserts whose names don’t start with the a C. The best part? Nearly every dessert is so good, you’d swear they specialize only in the one you just had ate.
But as much as I love to sing their praises about all of the desserts here, the dessert that inspired Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” is the one that left the deepest impression: the salted caramel cake. I’m usually a diehard chocolate lover, but despite having enough chocolate-based sweets here to satisfy even the chocolate-screaming fish from SpongeBob, it was the salted caramel cake that I was still salivating over long after I had left. The buttercream. The base. The brilliance of this cake was boundless. And after 30 years of being a proud sugar addict, I can confidently say it’s the best salted caramel cake I’ve ever eaten.
Salted caramel cake > brownie batter cupcake > peach cobbler > peanut butter ball > gooey butter cookie sandwich (very rich!) > cookie dough cannoli
