I purchased several desserts from Angie. The cheese cake, red velvet, and lemon cakes were delicious. My husband loved the cheesecake, and the red velvet had the best frosting on any red velvet cake that I have ever tried. Lastly, my son was ecstatic that he could have the lemon cake all to himself.

Cake Affect was a vendor at the Union Pop-up event and had amazing cake slices available. I had the five flavor cake – it was terrific! Moist, light, sweet and delicious. The only problem – I should have bought another slice – it was that good! I also enjoyed the peach cobbler and I’m looking forward to visiting the shop soon. Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

The Pound Cakes are Very Good. The Coconut Cake is not good at this Location. The Icing is Horrible on the Coconut Cake. I will never ever purchase this again. The Chocolate Ebony Cake the Icing is way too sweet and the Cake itself tastes DRY. The Pineapple Sunshine Cake is good. I never purchase the Peach Cobbler here because it does not look appetizing.

I purchased a 9″ Vanilla cake from Cake Affect after trying some absolutely delicious cup cakes. I know that love is used when baking these goods but I think unfortunately with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season something went wrong with my cake. The icing was delicious but the cake itself was very dry, as if an ingredient was accidentally left out. I gave a piece to a family member to taste just to see if I was being sensitive and he spit it out and handed me the plate back saying “it’s dry”. I did call and express my concern but instead of there being any attempt to resolve or rebake my cake the lady (for the sake of it being the internet I’ll leave her name out) told me she baked it personally and didn’t know how it dried out. I was not rude or irate on the phone, I wanted more cake so bad that I asked about getting cupcakes. I was offered a discount of $2.16 per cupcakes from $2.50. That wasn’t even %50. I didn’t ask for a cake for the holiday, I could have waited. Honest mistakes are made and if I been offered the opportunity to get my cake done over I would have paid for it again. I was not offered a new cake, instead it was made clear to me that they were busy.

Bought a Italian Cream Cake from Cake Affect yesterday for the 99th birthday of a very special lady! The cake was moist and the icing was perfect butter cream! It was one of the best cakes ever! I’ve been a taste tester for 70 years and they don’t get any better! Don’t miss an opportunity to partake in one of these!!
