First, let me tell you that from the time you walk in, you know your experience is going to be GREAT!! I have been to New Orleans and I will say that this food was better than what I had there. Very well seasoned and the service is phenomenal!! They are very attentive and the smile they have on their face shows they love what they do! The whole experience was very inviting and the food was fulfilling!! I had the Crawfish Cajun Pasta, Cup of Gumbo, and the Lemon Blueberry Bread Pudding. I definitely will be back!!

I’ve been waiting for this location to open every since I tried the Cedar Park location. It was worth the wait because all CONSISTENCY travled and then some!!! This location is larger, more vibrant, and even more friendly than Cedar Park. Not to take anything away from that location. They set the bar, and so far, Temple has surpassed the level of care and attention. The Cajun Philly is a most if you are a fan of philly steak sandwiches. The catfish was fried perfectly. No one likes mushy fish, and it was far from that. I think this location may have an even better Basil Lemonade though. This will become a regular spot for my family as long as the customer service and food consistently continues. This is a most try for Cajun lovers and a most try for those who haven’t had a quality Cajun experience.

I loved this restaurant! The lady that took our order was literally the nicest person ever. She was so kind and attentive. The restaurant itself was very clean. The food was delicious. We got the cajun chicken pasta, crawfish etoufee, and beignets. Everything was good. 10/10

Just finished my meal. Ordered the Catfish Olivia (Blackened) and it is absolutely delicious! Comes with dirty rice that is tasty as well and some hot buttered French bread. Paired it off with their homemade Basil lemonade that should be named Better than sex lemonade!!! Best lemonade ever. I will be definitely coming back. Portion size is great!

The fried catfish was perfectly crispy and the tartar sauce was well balanced sweet/tangy. The red beans and rice came out hot and seasoned just like I was back in Louisiana. Friendly staff too! The prices were very reasonable as well. Really enjoyed eating here

It’s so good!! I had the shrimp poboy with hush puppies and my husband had the catfish plate with fries, coke slaw, and a side of gumbo. Everything was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and service was great.

First off, I’m still trying to figure out how they’ve been open for over a month without me knowing. Fortunately, on my first visit I met a nice couple who knew all about the Skillet. They raved about the one in Cedar Park. The said to make sure I tried the bread pudding. I ordered my food to go but then changed my mind and dined in. Over $40 of food and I tell you I was not disappointed. The gumbo was flavorful and was very good. But oh that crawfish etouffee!! It was amazing…just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. A satisfying amount of crawfish and the roux in both dishes was just great. The perfect ending was the blueberry/lemon bread pudding. Yep I was in food heaven. The staff was friendly and the service was impeccable. Can’t wait to go back because I heard something about a dish with blackened catfish with crawfish etouffee on top. Yeah, that’s calling my name.

We have been twice and both times were excellent! The fried catfish is seasoned to perfection and perfectly crisp! The slaw is the best I’ve ever eaten. The shrimp po boy is insane with the yummiest bread. You will not regret coming here! Better than food we had in NOLA!
