The menu here is extensive and everything I’ve ever had has been delicious and reasonably priced. The chicken and dumplings, a weekly special, are the best I’ve ever had and I love that you can get banana pudding as a side dish with any meal. The service is friendly and fast, and I wish they had a location closer to me so I could eat here more often.

This place is delicious ! I enjoyed it all! The service was great and the food came out hot and fresh! I really want to keep this place to myself lol but I have to share how great it is! I will be back! I had the crabcake Benedict which I always try at every restaurant. It was amazing! My best friend had the omelet and it was great as well! Not to mention the waffle very fresh coffee and hashbrowns! I can’t wait to go back! The prices are reasonable as well!!

Wow, why is this place not busier! Granted we went on a Tuesday evening, but still. Food was delicious, service was fast and everything was hot and fresh. We will definitely be back. I got the fried catfish with hush puppies and onion petals. My husband got the baked chicken special. Both were delicious.

The food was excellent. The baked spaghetti was both delicious and a huge portion. Our waitress was personable, funny, and great at her job!

I have to say the service here was wonderful. The food was good but not great. The gravy taste like it is packet made fake gravy and is extremely salty. The mashed potatoes were a funny color. The corn bread was really good and so was the fried okra. Stay away from the meatloaf. It got a 4 star based on the amazing service.

Not much of a crowd for a Saturday morning being located in the industrial part of town. Wife got the country fried steak and eggs. I had the corn beef hash omelette, with hash browns. Their gravy and biscuits were delicious as well as our meals. Place is probable hard to get into on the weekdays. The food is very good, and look forward to giving their lunch a try.

I’ve gotten the same thing 3 or 4 times now. The food would be good if they actually served you what you ordered. I’m yet to understand why they say they can prepare a dish a certain way and then not prepare it that way. Why bother taking my food order if say you can do something but don’t??? The cook ignores what’s on the order and the waitress/waiter doesn’t check the order to make sure it’s right before serving it. I’m not trying anymore, this place can go frustrate over people now, I’m no longer going to be a customer here.

This is an interesting location tucked into an almost unseen business strip near where Friendly Avenue and Market Street meet on the west end of town (near airport). The menu has just about everything from breakfast to dinner entrées. I’d call it American Diner, but there is a touch of Italian and other European-ish foods. You can get just about anything you might want here. The food is good and the price, is ok. We’ve been a few times now and think it is worth checking out.

This is a fairly new restaurant that opened up recently that I wanted to try. There are a few things that I liked and a few things I didn’t like. For the cons, there is a price difference between credit/debit cards and using cash. I did not see a sign explaining this anywhere (I could have easily missed it.) While the menu had a good selection of food at decent prices, some of the food was hit or miss. For example, I ordered the meatloaf special. This comes with meatloaf, mashed potatoes, a bread of your choosing and two sides of your choice. The meatloaf was good and tasty. The mashed potatoes could have used gravy on them. They are good plain but gravy would have made them better. I chose mac and cheese and cabbage for the sides. Honestly, both of those could have been better. The cabbage was soggy and overcooked and the mac and cheese was bland. Overall, I would also recommend the meatloaf plate but with different sides. I also took home a lasagna for lunch the next day. The lasagna comes with a salad and a roll. The lasagna was hot and fresh and very tasty. I would recommend this as well.

Overall, I would give Cagney’s a 7/10. The menu alone is worth exploring as they serve breakfast all day. The few sides that I tried could have been better but the meatloaf and the lasagna was very good. The customer service and my waiter were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is also very clean. You should give them a try.

This is a really nice restaurant that serves fresh food that is incredible! All of the food is beaming hot when it first comes out and falls apart super easily to anyone’s touch. The ck parmesan here was really tasty and was exactly like Elizabeth’s almost maybe even better than Elizabeth’s they nailed it spot on the way I asked it to be done. The fried flounder was so good that I ended up eating the whole thing almost, which I always never end up finishing a whole entire fish platter. I was just blown away. Their hushpuppies are really tasty regarding fact. I don’t really like hushpuppies. I actually ate all them here, and they don’t throw on too many of them. The baked potato was perfectly cooked it was easy to eat and wasn’t dry at all. The garlic bread was crunchy and thankfully not chewy, unlike other places, and had an amazing garlic flavor. I ended up devouring both my dishes here pretty fast. This place reminds me of the Pavillion a little bit. Our waitress was super nice. I’m sad to say I forgot her name and couldn’t add it here. She was quick on her toes to grab us everything we needed, and she was super sweet and hard-working on the clock! Prices are not too bad here for the amount of food they give you. I’d definitely come back in the future to eat here.
