with how cute the vibes of this place was, I was really disappointed with the drinks. flavor-wise, the drinks tasted fine, just very very average “espresso and milk” that tastes like you could make it at home. the cappuccino that I ordered was just a bubbly latte, not even remotely close to how cappuccino foam should be.
overall, it could be a nice place to chill at to do work or something, but absolutely not a place I would go to for good drinks (especially given how many other GREAT places there are around.)

I don’t even know where to begin — this little café has genuinely restored my faith in the magic of small, independent places. From the moment you step inside, you’re wrapped in warmth: the soft glow of fairy lights, the smell of freshly ground coffee dancing with the scent of warm pastries straight from the oven, and the gentle hum of jazz that feels like a hug from an old friend.
But it’s not just the atmosphere. The baristas treat every cup like a work of art — you can taste the care, the precision, the love. I had their signature honey-lavender latte today, and I swear it tasted like sunshine and calm in liquid form. The avocado toast? Perfectly ripe, generously portioned, served with a side of kindness from the staff who remembered my name after just one visit.

My date introduced me to this place. I love the Hot Chocolate and the Dirty Chai Tea. I had the chocolate cake as well, and it was rich and delicious!
The jewelry is chic and affordable. I bought a beautiful pair of star earrings today. I love supporting local!
The service was good. Nothing too exceptional. The drinks were made in a timely manner. And the barista was nice.
I love the dichotomy between the upstairs and downstairs area of Caffetto! The downstairs portion is my favorite! I love the graffiti and pinball machines! It’s very aesthetically pleasing, and it makes for a fun place for a date!

Dropped in to Caffetto Cafe for a coffee and a quick sailor fude fountain pen sketch. Snow, ice and heavy metal music – oddly soothing. The Caffeto on 24th St just west of Lyndale, it’s a funky place know for dirty chai and chocolate cake, filled with an eclectic collection of everything, a basement of arcade machines, open late and full of highly sketchable interesting people. Highly recommend for sketchers urban.

This used to be one of my favorite hangouts, and it’s still one of the few coffeeshops where you can buy a cheap drink and sit down in a comfy chair for a few hours. That being said… I feel like they’ve really compromised on their values of being an open community space by adding locks to the bathrooms– bathrooms that are only accessible via a rickety staircase even to paying customers.

During my recent visit to Minneapolis, I had the pleasure of stopping by Caffetto Coffee House. The ambiance was nothing short of beautiful. The bohemian-grunge vibe of the place made me feel instantly comfortable, and it was evident that this was a space where people could gather without the pressure of alcohol consumption. The staff was notably friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings. Their chai was delightful, and the espresso was top-notch. I truly appreciate the late-night hours they offer, making it a perfect spot for night owls like me. Overall, my experience at Caffetto was memorable, and I genuinely liked it. If you’re in Minneapolis, I highly recommend giving this place a visit!

I love this coffee shop and always stop there when I’m in the neighborhood. The best latte, imho, in the twin cities. The sun shines over the few outdoor seats and in the front door of this dark, comforting space. Dated, dusty decor- in all the best ways!

Mudd, barista with the faux hawk, served pompous, douchey vibes. Pretended to check his watch (he wasn’t wearing one) while I was giving my order. This happened about 15 seconds into stepping up to the register.
I did come in super tired after a very long day, so was talking slow, but I was the only one in line, no one was waiting behind me and he was immediately passive and impatient, blatantly rude.
I asked a simple question on what their herbal tea tasted like, to gather an idea for a flavor profile, and he simply said, “You’ve never had Mossimini before..?” Rolled he eyes, and followed up with, “It tastes like, herbal tea.” Dude smirked at me, was so weird and disgusting.
I didn’t say anything rude back, didn’t give him an attitude, just pretended like I didn’t notice a thing. Tipped 20%, walked away with my tea, which basically tasted like water, and left. This place was recommended to me, which is why I went.

Nice to see this place is still open. They always had great coffee and welcoming “vibes”. This also happened to be the place where I first found out about the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001. It’s safe to say that this establishment is permanently etched into my memory.

Save your money. As others have stated, the barista is downright rude and condescending.
This is not a fun gimmick btw.
Also, why is the coffee so watered down and bland? Curiosity satisfied! Hard pass in the future.
