Fantastic new addition to downtown Redwood City. Excellent gelato with options for non-dairy folks. Probably the best is the nice friendly staff who is so helpful and kind. Highly recommend the gelato of course but there are other surprises in the store.

the sorbet had a robust, chewy texture. the pistachio bits were h*lla crunchy. strawberries and pistachio cream were the perfect counterbalance.
i am excited to go back and try more flavors. i appreciate that they had 6 vegan options, and many other more unique varieties, such as kahlua dutch almond.
the workers were very kind. a welcome addition to the area!

Opened just in time to enjoy a sandwich, and maybe some gelato, in the sun! The food is great and the atmosphere is very chill and friendly. Ordered the Speciale sandwich with the works and asked for it to be spicy. The sandwich looked very appetizing and it tasted delicious. Would check it out for sure and look forward to going again!

I am so excited Caffe Stellato opened in RWC! They have a huge variety of of gelato flavors, and all of them are amazing! You cannot go wrong here. The staff is also incredibly sweet and friendly. I can’t wait to go back!

Fabulous addition to the Redwood City food and sweets scene! Huge selection of tasty ice cream and sorbet flavors and the hot and cold sandwiches are delicious! I tried the Rompiballe, a hot meatballs sandwich, and my company had the Petto di Pollo, a hot sandwich with chicken and pesto. So good!
Caffe Stellato also has espresso drinks, a huge selection of candy, and several additional desserts, incl cannoli, tiramisu, Napoleon cake, chocolate cake and cheese cake. The list goes on! We’ll have to come back for the sorbet smoothie, milkshakes and frappe.

So excited to see Caffe Stellato in downtown RWC! They offer a wide variety of delicious gelato flavors — I just tried the espresso and it was absolutely amazing! The owners are incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back and try even more gelato flavors and the sandwiches!
