A surprisingly tasty lunch at Sorrento’s after my usual walk on the Long Beach Boardwalk. The Sorrento Salad was generously portioned and very fresh. Chicken Milanese was very tasty, the chef even prepared a whole new dish for us when we discovered the first one was slightly undercooked. Desserts like Tiramisu and Pistachio Ricotta Cake were very good and reasonably priced.

Best cheesecake I had. Unfortunately won’t be buying it again. First time I bought it spoiled, the strawberry one, I called and told them. Now it’s the second time within a few weeks when I had to throw it out because it was downright not edible anymore, the pistachio and the blueberry. I wish someone there cared more.

Make this cafe your last stop before any holiday gathering, and pick up a box of assorted cookies to guarantee a good time. They’re always fresh, always delicious and at a fair price point. Get yourself a Sfogliatella when you’re at it, and know that they’ll never judge you if you (like me) can not pronounce that word to save your life. Pair it with a nitro coffee and you’re set for life
