Cafe Delhi is the go-to Indian restaurant for our family. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious. Very good service, and recently renovated decor. I will say that as someone who likes spicy food, the “medium” level of spice may be too much for some people, so it is better to get your food with mild spice if you are on the fence. The buffet is also a very good option with a big selection.

My friend and I heard about the new ownership and wanted to check it out. As soon as I walked in, I recognized the owner who is Mickey Chopra! He runs i2i in Boonton, an Indian Italian fusion restaurant. Anyway, I like to ask restaurants what dishes that fit my mood and I was feeling being a paneer fiend, he suggested Shahi Paneer which is shredded paneer which I’ve never had before! My friend got butter chicken and oh my gosh that was really good. I’m not one for spicy so I told Mickey I wanted baby spice and he got it on the check! Haha! What a friendly and accommodating owner.
